Eligibility Criteria for REET 2024

The candidates who wish to be the primary and upper primary teachers in the schools of Rajasthan need to fulfil the REET eligibility criteria to fill out the application for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 (RTET 2024). The educational qualification eligibility has been given below for the candidates who want to appear in the REET 2024 exam 

REET Paper 1 Eligibility  

The candidate who wants to be a teacher in primary school (Classes 1-5) must fulfil any one of the educational criteria given below to apply online for REET 2024: 

  • Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary with at least 50 per cent marks (Or equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of the 2nd-year Diploma in Elementary Education  
  • Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary with at least 50 per cent marks (or equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education   
  • Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary with at least 50 per cent marks and passed or appeared in the final year of the 2nd-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)   
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education 

REET Paper 2 Eligibility  

The candidates who want to be a teacher in upper primary (classes 6 to 8) schools in Rajasthan need to fill out the online application for Paper 2. To fill out the online application for RTET 2024 candidates have to fulfill any one of the educational qualification eligibility given below: 

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.  
  • Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education.   
  • Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education, by the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.   
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).  
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.   
  • Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).  
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Bachelor of Education

The REET stands for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET). Though the REET is also known as RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test). Q:   Can I carry my mobile to the REET exam centre?

No, candidates are not allowed to carry their mobile phones or any other electronic devices to the REET (Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers) exam centre. The use of electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or any other electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Candidates found with any such electronic devices will be disqualified from the exam and their candidature will be cancelled. The RSMSSB (Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board, Jaipur) did not invited the offline application for the recruitment exam neither the application fees was accepted through offline mode like demand draft, etc. The RSMSSB accepted the UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card, etc. for the REET recruitment exam application form. Yes, the REET 2022 certificate is eligible to appear in the REET 2025 examination. REET certificate is issued valid for a period of three years, from the date when the results were declared. So the REET 2022 certificate should be valid till further REET examinations till the date of REET 2025 exam.
