SBI Clerk cutoff is released separately for prelims and mains exam. To check the category-wise and state-wise cut offs, candidates need to enter the registration number/roll number, date of birth, and captcha code. As there is no sectional cutoff, candidates are only required to secure the overall SBI Clerk cutoff to qualify for each exam stage. The final selection is done based on SBI Clerk cutoff for the mains exam provided candidates qualify the local language test. What is SBI Clerk 2024 Cut off?

SBI Clerk Cut off is the minimum qualifying marks required to be secured by each candidate in the prelims and mains exams. This means candidates need who score equal to or greater than the cut off marks are considered qualified for the exam. Factors Affecting SBI Clerk 2024 Cut off

The cut off is determined based on the following factors:

  • The difficulty level of the exam

SBI Clerk Prelims Cut off 2024

The prelims exam comprised three sections, English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The cut off of the prelims exam is calculated out of 100 marks. On the basis of SBI Clerk cut off, candidates 10 times the number of vacancies are selected for the mains exam. 

SBI Clerk Mains Cut off

The mains exam of SBI Clerk comprises four sections, General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability, and Computer Aptitude. The test carries a total of 200 marks. SBI Clerk cut off for mains exam is decided based on the total marks secured by the last candidates provisionally selected. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage of marks on aggregate. However, five per cent relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks is provided to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates. The minimum qualifying marks on aggregate are decided by the bank. The merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise.

A:
The total training duration of an SBI Clerk is six months. The probationary period for SBI clerks begins with induction training at the State Bank Institute of Learning and Development. This period lasts for one to two weeks at the state branch where they are posted. Later, trainees are assigned to their respective branches, where they undergo practical training for the banking process. This period lasts around five months, after which they work as junior associates in their respective branches. If associates are unable to successfully complete their training, their training period will be extended.

SBI normalisation is an important aspect of the exam. The prelims and Mains exams of SBI Clerk are held in various shifts, therefore, normalisation is applied to calculate the scores of candidates. SBI Clerk normalisation is done since there is some variation in the level of difficulty among with the shifts. SBI uses SBI Clerk normalisation to deal with the type of fluctuation. To balance the candidate's marks, SBI Clerk normalisation is followed which helps in adjusting the scores of all candidates. Q:   How long does it take to pass the SBI Clerk exam?

According to the testimony of many successful SBI Clerk exam candidates, it takes at least six months to pass. The reason is that it is a two-stage exam with vast syllabuses for prelims and Mains. The preliminary stage consists of three sections, which are: English language, reasoning ability, and numerical ability. For the main stage, there are a total of four sections, with "general" and "financial awareness" as additional sections. The aspirants are required to cover the completed syllabus and then practice for both stages. After clearing these stages, shortlisted aspirants have to pass a language proficiency test. Therefore, you need a minimum of six months to pass this exam. Depending on their level of preparation, some may require less time.

The scorecard for SBI Clerk exam is released along with the result. To download the scorecard, candidates need to enter the required credentials. For correct answers, candidates score one mark. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The mains exam carries a total of 200 marks. SBI Clerk reserve list is the total number of seats that are set aside to be filled by candidates belonging to different categories. SBI provides excellent job opportunities to candidates who wish to join the banking sector. To ensure that the deserving candidates get an opportunity to join SBI to the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales), a separate SBI Clerk reserve list is kept. The seats belonging to each reservation category can be filled in case of resignation or non-joining of candidates. The details regarding SBI Clerk waitlist are given below:

  • SBI maintains a waitlist of up to 50 per cent of the vacancies both state-wise and category-wise
  • Candidates are offered an appointment from the waitlist on a quarterly basis if anyone does not join or resign out of the current batch
  • Only those candidates are selected from the waitlist who secures the minimum qualifying marks in the Mains exam
  • The waitlist is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the SBI Clerk final result
