The Commission is expected to release the SSC JE 2024 Tier 2 result in November 2024 on its official website at ssc.gov.in. The SSC JE Tier 2 result will be available in the PDF format and will consists of the names and roll numbers of the selected candidates. The tier 2 exam was conducted on November 6, 2024.

SSC JE 2024 application was released on the official website ssc.gov.in on March 28, 2024. The candidates can fill out the application form from March 28, 2024 to April 18, 2024. The candidates were allowed to edit their application form from April 22 & 23, 2024. The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the SSC JE 2024 Paper 1on June 5, 6, and 7, 2024. The SSC JE 2025 application process dates were released via SSC annual calendar 2025-2026 on the official website. The SSC JE 2025 application process will begin on August 5, 2025 (tentatively) and will end on August 28, 2025 (tentatively). 

The SSC JE Paper 2 exam is conducted for 2 hours, However, for the scribe candidates it is conducted for 2 hours and 40 minutes. The paper 2 is conducted for 200 marks. The complete pattern of the exam has been given below:

• Paper 2 is a descriptive paper conducted in computer based mode
• Candidates have to attempt a question paper of 300 marks in 2 hours

• There is no negative marking applicable in Paper-2

The SSC JE 2024 Tier 2 exam was conducted on November 6, 2024. The authority released the official notification regarding the same on the official website. The commission will soon provide additional details about Tier 2 including the admit card, schedule, etc.

The application fee for SSC JE exam is INR 100. However, the fee is exempted for females of all categories and candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD/ ExS. Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode:

The SSC JE Paper 1 (Objective Type) exam is conducted in CBT mode. Candidates have to answer multiple choice questions using a mouse or a touch screen. 

Conventional Paper-Pen Mode: 

SSC JE Paper 2 (Convntional Type) exam is conducted in offline pen paper mode. Candidates have to write down answers on the question sheet provided. The mode of Paper 2 also depends upon the specific job profile.

Yes, it is mandatory to appear for both paper 1 and 2 of SSC JE exam.
