Candidates need to fill out the UGC NET application form 2025 in two parts – registration and application. Some of the important documents that candidates need to keep ready themselves before filling up the UGC NET registration and application form include:

  • ID card
  • Board/university/qualifying degree certificate

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2025

The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is conducted for two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates have to sit for both papers for a single duration of three hours.  The NTA postponed the UGC NET Dec session exam for January 15, 2025 due to Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festivals. The revsied dates were released by the NTA. Now, the January 15 exam was conducted on January 21 (morning shift) and January 27, 2025 in the evening shift.
