AP ICET 2025: Last-Minute Preparation Tips

Revise tricky topics and formulas – Quick revision before the exam should be a high priority for the candidates. No matter how much hard work you put in for exam preparation, the result will rely on how well you have revised these topics. Candidates should make their revision plans well in advance. They can make a list of important topics, shortcut tricks, and formulas that need to revise ahead of the exam.

Q:   When is the APICET exam conducted?

A:

The AP ICET 2025 exam date will be announced along with the release of AP ICET notification. The exam is expected to be  scheduled in first week of May 2025. The exam is held in offline mode across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates will have the option to enter maximum three exam center preferences (based on the availability) while filling the AP ICET 2025 application form. Based on the options entered, candidates will be alloted the exam centre as per the availability. Candidates will be able to check the alloted APICET exam centre on release of the AP ICET admit card. The admit card will be released in first week of May 2025. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket for AP ICET 2025 till the date of the examination.

Q:   When will Andhra Pradesh ICET notification release?

A:

AP ICET notification 2025 will be released online. APSCHE will first release the Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 notification in newspapers and then released online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in in first week of March. On release of the Andhra Pradesh ICET notification 2025, candidates will be able to check the important dates, exam pattern, application process, eligibility criteria, syllabus and selection criteria. Earlier, APSCHE announces the Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 exam date. Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 exam is expected to be held in first week of May. The exam will be held in CBT mode. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of examination.

Q:   What is the exam time for APICET?

A:

Andhra Pradesh ICET exam will be held in two sessions tentatively in first week of May. The first session will be held in morning from 9 AM to 11.30 AM and the second session will be conducted in forenoon from 2.30 PM pm to 5 PM. Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 exam will be held tentatively on May 06. Candidates who will register for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam will be notified about the exam time on release of the Andhra Pradesh ICET admit card. Candidates have to report at the allotted AP ICET exam centre one hour prior to the given examination time. No request for change in examination centre, exam date and time will be entertained once the admit card is issued.

Avoid learning new topics – Covering a new topic in the last hour could lead to further confusion or even impede the confidence level of the candidate. Therefore, it is advised that the candidates should steer clear of such topics. They should rather focus on their strengths and revise the topics they have already covered.

It is an ideal time to solve previous years’ AP ICET question papers. This will help you gain familiarity with the exam pattern, topic-wise distribution of marks,  type of questions asked in the exam, and difficulty level of the question paper.

Plan your exam day – Candidate should plan their activities on the examination day well in advance. From getting adequate sleep to organising all the necessary items for the examination, candidates should ensure everything is in place to avoid any last-minute rush on the examination day.

Q:   What is Andhra Pradesh ICET normalization process?

A:
Andhra Pradesh ICET normalization process ensures that candidates are neither advantages nor disadvantaged as per the difficulty level of the examination across the four sessions of the exam. The normalization process is implemented to normalize the scores and rank the candidates for the exams across all the sessions at a competitive scale. As per the Andhra Pradesh ICET normalization process, the marks of the easier session may be reduced marginally and the marks of the difficulty session will be increased depending on the average performance of the candidates. In case, there is no much difference in the average of the four-sessions, there will be no change in the normalization marks. Q:   What are the documents required at APICET exam centre?

A:

Candidates who will be appearing for the APICET exam must ensure to carry the following documents and items for smooth conduct of the examination: 1. Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 admit card 2. Any identity proof- Voter ID, Driving License, PAN card, Aadhar Card, Passport 3. Amid the COVID-19 cases rising candidates must ensure to wear the mask all time, carry sanitizer, transparent water bottle, and gloves. Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 exam is expected to be held in first week of May 2025. The examination will be a Computer Based Test wherein candidates will have to report at the allotted APICET 2025 exam centre. Candidates must ensure to adhere by the prescribed protocols.

Q:   When will APICET notification release?

A:

Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 notification will be released in last week of March. Candidates who are willing to appear for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam must check the important dates. The registration process will commence soon after the release of notification. The notification of Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 mentions the complete details about the important dates, eligibility criteria, application form, admit card, answer key and results.

Q:   Can I leave the APICET exam centre after completing the exam in one hour?

A:
On completing the APICET exam, candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall soon after. Candidates will be permitted to leave once the time duration is completed. Candidates must handover their rough sheets to the invigilator before leaving the examination hall. Candidates must ensure to maintain social distance while moving out and drop the APICET admit card in the box placed in examination hall.

Q:   What are the important guidelines to appear for APICET exam?

A:
Amid rising COVID-19 cases, candidates must ensure to wear the mask all time including outside and inside the examination hall. Any candidate found without mask will not be permitted to enter the examination hall. Candidates must note that the guardian/parents will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Candidates must carry their own sanitiser (upto 100 ML) and transparent water bottle at the examination centre. Candidates who will be recorded with high fever will not be permitted to enter the examination hall. While entering the examination centre, candidates must ensure social distancing to prevent the spread of infection.

Stay positive – A candidate needs to enter the examination hall with a positive frame of mind. Even if the question paper is difficult, candidates should devise a strategy without getting intimidated and should put in their best effort within the stipulated time. 

Avoid comparisons with your peers-  Candidates should avoid comparing their preparations with their peers, especially in the last few hours to the exam. It is detrimental to the self-confidence of the candidate and counterproductive in every sense. The best practice is to focus on self-assessment depending on your performance in mock tests without drawing parallels.

  • Reach the exam centre at least an hour ahead of the reporting time to avoid any last-minute rush. Exam will be conducted in computer-based mode. Candidates must maintain social distancing at the exam centre
