NTA has started the NEET 2021 phase 2 application process on October 1 and the last date has been extended from October 13 to October 14. Candidates can also make corrections in the first phase application form in the same window.

NEET 2021 Registration Process

NTA had reopened the NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration and correction window on October 21 and the last date was October 26 (11.50 pm). The original date of starting the NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration process and correction facility in the first phase application form was October 1 which ended on October 14. The deadline for the correction facility was extended twice. Initially, the deadline was October 10, which was extended till October 13.  In the second phase of the NEET 2021 application form, candidates had to enter the details such as category, education, parents' occupation and income, and additional information. In the first phase application form, candidates could make corrections in the fields of gender, nationality, email address, category, sub-category and educational details for Class 11 and Class 12.  
This year, NTA had made a change in the NEET application procedure. The application form was divided into two phases to ensure that candidates' data is submitted quickly. The first set of information needed to be filled up before the last date of submission of the online Application Form. The second set of information needed to be filled up by the candidates before the declaration of the NEET 2021 Result/downloading of Score Card during the period that would be notified separately through NEET (UG) Portal in due course. The first phase of the NEET 2021 application process was conducted from July 13 to August 10. How to Fill NEET 2021 Phase 2 Application Form

Candidates had to follow the steps given below to apply for the NEET 2021 Phase 2:

  • Visit the official website of NEET 2021 or visit the link https://testservices.nic.in/NEET2021/Registration/CorrectionInstructionP2.aspx
  • Login with the NEET 2021 application number, password and captcha
  • Enter the One Time Password (OTP) which will be sent to the registered mobile numbers 
  • Click on 'Verify & Proceed for Correction'
  • Enter the details or edit the information entered in the first phase of registration

NEET 2021 Phase 2 Details to be Submitted

Candidates need to submit the following details in the NEET 2021 Phase 2 Registration Form.
  • Personal Details - Candidate category, Minority Type (if applicable), confirm if a candidate is an only child (in case of female candidates), mode of preparation
  • Educational Details -

    candidates will have to enter the details of their Class 10 and Class 11, such as:

    • Pass status

    • Year of passing/appearing

    • Qualifying examination

    • Place of schooling

    • Type of school/college

    • Qualifying examination state

    • Qualifying examination district

    • Board name

    • Mode of result

    • Maximum grade point

    • Total CGPA

    • CGPA obtained

    • Total marks

    • Marks obtained

    • Marks in percentage

    • Roll number

    • School/college name address

    • School/college pin code

  • Parents' Income details - Parents' educational details, occupation and annual income
  • Additional details - Place of birth, state and district

The registration of NEET 2021 was an online process. Aspirants who are willing to appear for the national level entrance exam could fill the NEET 2021 applications only after completion of the registration process. One must note that NEET registration and application form are the two steps of the NEET 2021 application process. Both these steps had to be completed in online mode only. NTA had provided the facility of filling the NEET application offline to the candidates belonging from Leh, Ladakh and Kargil region.

NEET 2021 Registration Process

  • To register for NEET 2021, go to the official website of neet.nta.nic.in
  • In the current events section, click on "Fill Registration Form"
  • Read the instructions carefully
  • Confirm that you have read all the instructions by marking the checkbox at the end of the page
  • Now click on "proceed to apply online NEET (UG) 2021"
  • A new Registration form will open
  • Enter the following details
    • Candidate's name
    • Mother's name
    • Father's name
    • Category
    • Person with Disability
    • Disability details
    • Date of birth
    • Gender
    • Nationality
    • State of eligibility (for 15% All India Quota)
    • Select identification type and number
    • Mobile Number
    • Email Id
    • Security pin
  • Check the details that you have entered
  • Now select "Preview and Next"
  • Check the details mentioned on the pre-filled NEET registration form
  • Click "Next" to proceed
  • Create a password
  • Choose a security question and answer
  • Click on "OTP Verification"
  • You will receive a 6-digit OTP on your registered email Id/ mobile number
  • Enter the OTP and submit the registration form
  • A provisional NEET application number is generated
  • Note down this number for future reference

How to Fill the NEET 2021 Application Form? (Phase 1)

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to complete the NEET application process:

  1. Using the Candidate Login section, log in with the help of your application number and password
  2. The application process of NEET 2021 has four steps
  3. The application form starts with "Step 1: Apply Online"
  4. Details filled in the NEET 2021 registration form will be automatically prefilled into this one
  5. The details that are already prefilled into the application form cannot be changed
  6. Select if you belong to the minority category
  7. Select if you are suffering from Type I Diabetes
  8. Select the place of birth (India/abroad)
  9. Select the State and District of your birthplace
  10. Choose the desired medium of the question paper
  11. Choose four exam cities for NEET 2021
  12. Select the school education board under which you had completed Class 10
  13. Enter the name of the school and its address
  14. Select year of passing Class 10 and the marks obtained
  15. Enter details of the school/college from where you completed Class 11
  16. Year of passing Class 11
  17. Enter the details of School/Board of Class 12
  18. Year of passing Class 12
  19. Roll number of Class 12 (Boards roll number)
  20. Enter your current postal address and permanent address
  21. Enter qualification, occupation and income details of both parents
  22. Select if you will be wearing a customary dress on the day of the examination (Know the NEET2021 dress code)
  23. Enter the security code
  24. Review the NEET application form and check for errors
  25. Mark the checkboxes after reading the instructions next to them
  26. Click on “Final Submit” to submit your application
  27. This takes you to "Step 2: Upload scanned Images"
  28. Upload passport size and postcard size photograph, left hand thumb impression and signature in the stipulated dimensions and file format
  29. You have now completed two steps of the application form and this brings us to "Step 3: Make payment"
  30. Select the desired payment method
  31. Click on "Go for payment" and pay the prescribed NEET registration fee
  32. Once the payment is processed successfully, you will be redirected to the Print confirmation page
  33. This is the fourth and last step
  34. Print the confirmation page of NEET application form and keep it safe for future reference

Q. What if I do not submit the NEET 2021 Phase 2 Registration Form?

A. In case a candidate does not submit the second phase NEET 2021 application form, their candidature will get cancelled.
