NEET MDS 2024 Revised Cutoff Score Released by NBE; No Change in Rank List
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the revised NEET MDS 2024 cutoff scores in accordance to the announcement by the Ministry of Health made on September 17, 2024. Know the category-wise NEET MDS 2024 revised cutoff scores here.
NEET MDS 2024 Cutoff Score Revised
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the revised NEET MDS 2024 cutoff scores. On September 17, 2024, the Ministry of Health had announced the reduction of the NEET MDS 2024 cutoff percentile by 21.692 percentile for each category. In accordance to that, NBEMS has released the revised NEET MDS cutoff 2024 percentiles and scores.
NBEMS has stated, “In accordance with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India letter No. V. 12025/84/2024-DE dated 17th September 2024, the minimum qualifying percentiles have been lowered [in pursuance of the 2nd Proviso in clause 7 (1) of DCI’s Master of Dental Surgery Course (1st Amendment) Regulations, 2018].”

Although the Ministry of Health had announced that NBEMS will release the revised result, the authorities have mentioned that there has not been any change in the rank list. “It may be noted that there is no change in the NEET-MDS 2024 Rank as published on 03rd April 2024. Candidature is purely provisional subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in the NEET-MDS 2024 Information Bulletin.”
The NEET MDS revised cutoff 2024 has been reduced in order to fill the vacant seats for MDS counselling 2024. The NEET MDS counselling 2024 was conducted from July 1 to September 14, 2024, in four rounds. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) may announce further rounds of counselling to fill the vacant seats.
