SBI PO Shift Timings 2023: State Bank of India (SBI) will conduct the mains exam of SBI PO 2023 on December 5, 2023. The mains exam will be conducted in a single shift for candidates who qualified the prelims exam. The prelims exam of SBI PO was conducted in four shifts-9 AM to 10 AM, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm and 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm. SBI PO exam duration for the prelims exam was one hour with sectional timings of 20 minutes. SBI PO reporting time for Shift 1 was 8 am whereas it was 10.30 am for Shift 2. The reporting time for Shift 3 was 1 pm whereas it was 3.20 pm for Shift 4. SBI PO exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates to the post of Probationary Officers/Management Trainee. The prelims exam is conducted in various shifts for all the registered candidates. Candidates appearing for the exam must check below the SBI PO shift timings.

SBI PO mains exam is conducted for the qualified candidates of the prelims exam. The mains exam is either conducted in two shifts or a single shift depending on the number of candidates. SBI PO shift timing for the mains exam is given below.

SBI PO Reporting Time

SBI PO reporting time is usually an hour before the exam. The reporting time is mentioned on the admit card. Candidates must reach the exam centre as per SBI PO reporting time. The reporting time for the prelims and is given below. SBI PO mains reporting time is 12.30 pm.

SBI PO Exam Pattern 2023

SBI PO exam pattern for prelims comprises 100 objective questions from English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The carries a total of 100 marks. The duration of the prelims exam is one hour (20 minutes for each section). SBI PO mains exam comprises both objective and descriptive tests. The total marks allotted to the mains exam are 250. The duration of the test is 3.5 hours with sectional timings. The Phase 3 exam comprises psychometric test, interview and group exercise and interview. The group exercise and interview carry 50 marks.

SBI PO Shift Timings 2023: General Instructions

The exam day guidelines for SBI PO 2023 exam are given below:

  • Date, time and venue address of the examination given in the SBI PO admit card
  • SBI PO admit card should be brought with candidates to the examination venue along passport-size photograph pasted on it
  • No use of calculators (separate or with watch), books, notebooks or written notes, cell phones (with or without camera facility), or any other electronic device will be allowed during the examination.
  • Take the call letter with a photograph affixed on it, a photocopy of photo identity proof stapled with it and the same (currently valid) photo ID in original
  • Candidates should take a ball-point pen
  • Sheet of paper will be provided at the exam centre
  • Any stationery item such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
  • Other items such as goggles, handbags, hair pin, hair band, belt, cap, watch/wrist watch, camera, Any metallic item,
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle (only transparent water bottle is allowed)

The marks scored in Preliminary exam will not be added to prepare the final selection list. Marks scored in Stage 2, which is out of 250, will be converted in a proportion out of 75 marks and Stage 3 scores of candidates, which is out of 75 marks will be converted to 50 marks.

There are no sectional cut off in SBI PO prelims and mains exams. Candidates are only required to secure the overall cut off in the exam. SBI PO prelims cut off is not taken into consideration for final selection. The cut offs of the mains exam and interview are taken into consideration for final selection. SBI PO cut off for the prelims exam is only considered to select candidates for the mains exam.
