The B.Ed programme is offered in nearly 20 IPU-affiliated colleges. Admission criteria is the same for all these courses for B.Ed programme. The total seats available for the IPU B.Ed programmes is 1,900. Additionally, the seats for B.Ed special courses is 243 (As per past years' data). It includes the seats available in the affiliated colleges. At the time of seat allotment, candidates are admitted as per this seat intake only. All the B.Ed offering IPU colleges have a seat intake of 100 for the course. The mentioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body.

The total IP University B.Ed fees includes various fee components such as tuition fee, registration fee, security deposit, etc. The total tuition fee for B.Ed ranges between INR 1.1 Lacs and INR 2.2 lakh. Moreover, the tuition fee for B.Ed (special education) is INR 1.92 lakh. After seat allotment, candidates have to pay some amount of the fee to confirm their seat. For IPU B.Ed admission, candidate should hold a bachelor's degree and/ or in Master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities, Engineering or Technology with at least 50% aggregate, or Bachelor‘s in Engineering or Technology with a specialisation in Science and Mathematics with a minimum of 55% aggregate. Aspirant should hold the original and copies of the documents during application form filling and admission process.

1. Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'Online Admission Form'.
2. Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration step of the application process.
3. Select B.Ed from the programme drop-down menu and register with the candidate's name, email ID and contact number. Further, click on 'CET' courses.
4. An application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form is then sent by the university.
5. In the first stage of the application form, enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.
6. Upload the required set of documents and pay the prescribed application fee (INR 1,500) via debit card/credit card/net banking.

No, the university does not offer direct admissions. IP University does not allow any of the affiliated colleges/institutes/agency to grant direct admission to any of the course of the university. Hence, the university is not responsible for any amount deposited or paid by the candidate directly to the affiliated colleges/institutes of GGSIPU.
