Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement drives are held every year, and students get placed in many different companies. Around 60%-70% of students get placed. Well-skilled students secure good jobs from CU. One have to work hard here to get a job or placement, as the competition is quite good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite nice, and labs are well established. Food provided in the hostel is average and the hostel atmosphere is quite good, but rules are strict. But, there are some cons to staying in the hostel and sometimes issues with Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Faculty in our course is very good, helpful, and treats students well. Faculty members guide each student and clear every doubt. The faculty here is well knowledge with the market and there respective industries. They guide the students as much as they can.

Review of Chandigarh University (CU).
Placements: Animator, video editor, game designer, 3D modeler, 2D animator, 3D animator, etc. are the top roles offered. The highest package offered by college is 40,000 per month and the lowest is 15000 per month. Not most of the students get internships, but if you want, you have to keep your academic score high.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi is nice, faculty is also nice, hostel have good facilities, etc. Mess food is of good quality and sweet dish are also given sometimes at dinner time. Infrastructure inside the labs is good. There is AC available inside every class of our block and the library is also nice.
Faculty: We mostly have practical exams only most of the time because our course is fully practical-based. Teachers also help when you face some difficulties while doing your assignment or while practicing your work. They won't make students industry-ready because the things they teach are basic for industry-level. We have to level up ourselves for it.
Other: Nice events, it has a nice vibe to it, and the surroundings are also nice. It has a lot of greenery inside the campus.

Not satisfied with the syllabus and faculty and everything related to interior placements.
Placements: So, right now as my internship phase is going on, they promised to provide internship as well but there are literally 0 to no companies for 3D animation and those few were asking for 3D modelling and Rendering and all but as I chose 3D animation they didn't even taught us about 3D modelling which is considered base of 3D animation which is something told to us by outsiders where we went for internship. So we are unable to get any paid internship right now.
Infrastructure: As I chose 3D animation, we needed so many things like a mirror for reference or acting so that we can create animation through the reference from our movements or facial expressions and there was nothing in the classroom just few PC's out of which only 1 or max 2 were working properly. Even this much I have said more no pc was working properly, It used to cash in between our work. If we are going to talk about hostel or mess, I don't think it's hidden from anyone. Video of mess food was shared all over social media regarding having cockroaches or insects or even rates in mess food.
Faculty: The teachers were average, few were fine but most of them were not even teaching properly in class like the syllabus was not even finished when it was the time for semester exams. Few teachers were just coming and siktin idle in the whole class doing nothing. Few were not even able to handle the class properly. Semester exams are not that difficult, I feel it's easy to pass. Pass percentage is around 70-80%. And the most important thing they don't teach properly in details so, doing this course from Chandigarh University is not going to make u industry ready. U will have to opt for Diploma and all for proper skills.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in sketching and movies. The best thing about this course is u can turn your imagination into real through this course. But yes, don't do it from Chandigarh University rather do a Diploma from somewhere else and for graduation do any course. The thing I wish would be better about this course is more practical knowledge and deep learning or teaching about the software.

Good infrastructure, facilities, faculty and good placements.
Placements: 60% of students were placed in this course and the highest package was INR 30 lacs, the average package was INR 11 lacs, and the lowest package was INR 5 lacs. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Arcesium, and many more. 50% of students got internships and top roles as animators and graphic designers.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are well equipped with wi-fi, effective labs, and a big library. The classrooms are big and have projectors for effective knowledge and the labs are functional. Hostel life is good the canteen is good and the medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good as it makes the industry ready. Semester exams are easy and can be passed with little preparation. Pass percentage is 33 percent, and its very easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course and the events and fest are good enough.

The faculty is good, but the infrastructure is outdated, and the systems are old.
Placements: The placement situation was average; it depends on your course. Many courses have very good placements, but some do not, resulting in students not being placed. The highest package is around 2 crore, and many courses do offer placements, so you can get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the building is nice, but the systems are old. Their specifications are outdated, and there is a need to upgrade the systems and provide equipment according to the courses. This improvement would enhance our learning experience.
Faculty: The faculty is generally good, but I think the curriculum needs some changes as it feels a bit outdated. Some faculty members are not very effective, and you might learn a little from the internet. However, you can freely ask faculty anything related to the course and curriculum.
Other: Campus life is very good, and the crowd is large.

Both are good courses in terms of career aspects. You should select one according to your interest. If you're good in creativity and designing then go for Game Designing or if you're interested and good in programming then go for Game Programming.
