Absolutely dissatisfied because of facilities, really good infrastructure and crowd.
Placements: There is no placement for interior design students, and the facilities for the design department are lacking. The department is slowly growing, but the fees are increasing a lot every year.
Infrastructure: There are too few charging plugs for laptops in the design department classrooms. We've been dealing with this problem since the first semester, and it hasn't been fixed yet. I don't know when it will be resolved.
Faculty: Some of the facilities are not so good. In the department, most of the other facilities have less teaching experience. They are not able to observe the students as they do not understand the shortcomings of the students.
Other: Event, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surrounding, scholarship, extracurricular activities are very good.

Life at Chandigarh University.
Placements: Students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester. Many companies do visit the university, like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and several local startups. Last year, around 50 companies participated, leading to over 200 offers. As I am a fresher, I don't have any personal knowledge, but my senior told me that the maximum package was 30 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classes are well-equipped with all the required materials. For interior design, there are proper labs, architecture tables, a modeling room, a rendering room, a green screen room, and many more. Every floor has its own Wi-Fi, and the Wi-Fi works best. Classes are fully centrally air-conditioned, and the library can be accessed with your respective UID until 10 PM.
Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified and professional in their own fields. They are very supportive and helpful, and one would definitely consider them as friends. Before the course starts, we are given a teaching plan, and everything goes according to that, which helps us and gives us a sense of clarity. Semester exams are based on the course, and they test the knowledge we have gained.
Other: Since childhood, I have had a passion for this field, so I decided to make my career in interior design. To me, the university is perfect. We keep an annual event like the Fresh Gen Fiesta and Fresh Gen Universe, and we also have regular events.

Everything is well maintained.
Placements: About 30% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package is 15 lacs, and the lowest is 5 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Google, etc. About 40% of students got internships from my course. The top role offered in my course is that of interior designer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the university are so. Facilities are not as good as the name suggests, but infrastructure is so good. The food in the canteen is so good and on budget. The material and quality of the food also so good and the staff is well mannered.
Faculty: Faculty are very helpful and qualified and teacher quality is the best; they teach like their own kids to students and work hard for the future of their students. Yes, the course is so relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Exams are very difficult in college. 60–70% is the passing percentage.
Other: I chose this course for my better future and the best things in my course are firm and practical work. I wish that the site visits were the base of my course so college will improve that and organize more and more site visits. Events, fest, crowds, scholarships, extracurricular activities, etc. Everything is good.

Our college has good infrastructure and qualified faculty members.
Placements: Placements were above average. You can register for placements in your third semester. By the end of the fourth semester, companies will recruit you. In the end, recruitment depends upon your grades, practical work, and skills. You need to be confident.
Infrastructure: The interior design department was good and well managed. Classrooms and labs were well managed. Every classroom had a projector. Besides, your phone network won't work properly inside the college premises. There was a hospital on campus, so medical facilities were available 24X7.
Faculty: Faculty members were qualified and very helpful. Mentors were very friendly and helpful. You won't feel stressed or pressured. Faculty members were well prepared before the lectures. The practical work, industrial visits, and site visits made the course more interesting. Semester exams are not difficult if you are attentive during practicals.
Other: Art and design were my fields of interest, so I chose interior design as my career because it was one of the fastest-growing professions. The best thing about this course was that it always went beyond the books. Campus life was very good and exciting. There were programs and competitions very often. CU is also popular for its huge events and celebrities visiting here. There is a small world inside the campus.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students are placed. The salary package offered is 12 LPA. Almost 80% of students get internships based on their skills. We get many opportunities here to fulfill our dreams. You have to be determined.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available here. Wi-Fi and a projector are available in every classroom. Computer labs, workshops, a library, a lift, and air-conditioned rooms are available. The quality of food served in the hostel mess and also in the outside canteens is good.
Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent. Semester exams are not difficult if you only study in classrooms. They provide very interesting and interactive sessions. The policy is to have fun while learning. Our teachers are well-educated. They are qualified and knowledgeable.
Other: This college is the platform we all need to fly. This place gives us wings.
