Renowned organizations such as CBI and FSL are among the top recruiters, while internships provide valuable experience with agencies like the NIA and private labs. Graduates can pursue various roles, including forensic analyst and investigator.

Infrastructure: Chandigarh University offers excellent facilities for my Ph.D. in Forensic Science, including Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, separate labs for each department, and a comprehensive library. Hostel facilities are good, but food quality in the mess can be improved. Adequate medical facilities.

Faculty: Ph.D. professors at Chandigarh University demand extra work. While generally helpful and knowledgeable, mostly senior professors with experience. The curriculum is relevant, but industry readiness could improve. Semester exams are moderately challenging.

Best incredible place of my life.

Placements: University excels in campus placements providing a platform for students to achieve their dreams. Major multinational corporations like Flipkart, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, TAFE and Ernest actively recruit from the campus, offering promising career opportunities. Seniors and alumni are supportive and accessible through dedicated alumni groups offering guidance and assistance to current students.

Infrastructure: The campus environment is vibrant and diverse, fostering a healthy atmosphere with an equal gender ratio and students from around the world. The amenities include food courts, park, and well maintained labs. Competitions, debates and various events enrich the students experience. The university celebrates a plethora of festivals and hosts various programs throughout the year including CU Fest, Teach fest.

Faculty: The department comprises approximately 10 faculty members, led by an experienced head from the Central Forensic laboratory, Chandigarh. The faculty includes doctorates in the field, with a focus on organizing workshops, conferences and guest lectures to enhances students knowledge. Field trips are also organized to encourage student engagement. The examination structure is well organized and satisfactory with regular assignment promoting self-learning.
