Review of College of Engineering Vadakara.
Placements: CEV offers great placements. About 70% of students get placed. The salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 10L PA. It invites reputed companies and organizes campus placements. Top recruiting companies for placements are TCS, Qburst, Mitsogo, etc.
Infrastructure: This college provides great facilities and infrastructure on the campus. Wi-Fi, labs, and libraries are working properly. The hostel service is provided by the college with spacious rooms, a mess, and halls. Our canteen and cafeteria are working properly. Medical services are available. Sports and arts are very much encouraged here.
Faculty: Faculty members at CEV are well-qualified and friendly to everyone. The quality of the teaching is very high because every faculty is well-educated and has many years of experience. Exams are conducted semester-wise by following the KTU syllabus.

Review of Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi.
Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed in the campus selection. As this course is rare, it has high placements. The total strength of the class is just 60, so a minimum of 55 students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. Indian Oil, Rain, etc., are top recruiting companies. Above 90% of students get paid internships in the third year itself.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average as it is a new building. But many plants are being implemented to make the infrastructure very good. A library is available with a lot of journals and books. If it is not enough, we use the university library as it contains more number of journals and books. Wi-Fi implementation is at the starting stage. The software block has a full Wi-Fi facility. Labs are good. Many lab sessions are held.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. Students can easily communicate with them. Even if we have any doubts, we can ask them whenever we want. They stand with students whenever they need. The course curriculum is not very relevant because we have theory more than practical, but it should not be like that. Students need more practicality over theory, which makes them industry-efficient. Semester exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is above 75%. If we start to study one week before exams, we can easily get passing marks.
Other: I chose this course because it is rare, and this college has high placements. Events and the campus crowd are there. A tragic moment happened last year in our college, from that time, programs and events were not held, but now it is again starting step by step. Sports and arts fests are held every year.

Nice college with pleasant vibe.
Placements: Poor placement with below-average LPA. Many students get placed, but the annual income is very poor. Mainly, the majority of the students get placements in many companies, but the majority LPA is less than 8lcs. However, some students get good packages with higher LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is very poor, but the ambiance and vibe with friends give so many memories. The faculty in charge of the hostel is also very nice and friendly, but the main problem is the mess food; it is very poor. The curries are like flowing water, but the atmosphere is very nice.
Faculty: Teachers are very nice; the majority of them are youngsters with a friendly vibe. The college atmosphere is very cool and chill, but the exams are very tough. If you have a chance to get admission in another university, then go and take admission in that university; don't get trapped in KTU.

Great placement with world-class facilities.
Placements: Placement for students was eligible from third year. About 60% of the students were offered placements. The entire selection process was based on how they were interviewed. Last year, students could participate in the admissions process. Top recruitment agencies visited our campus. The salary package offered ranged from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. I wanted to work in the government, so I was studying for the PSC exams.
Infrastructure: All hostels in our college were good. Our university had good services. Each room had three beds, a desk, and a ceiling fan. Food in the hostel was good. There were no special dishes, but the food was very delicious and hygienic. The registration process was simple. Priority was given to hostel accommodation for students from remote areas. Hostel cost, including meals is Rs. 2300 per month.
Faculty: Faculty members were very friendly and talented. They know how to teach and have extensive experience helping students succeed. Course curriculum a bit more complex as it covers all the core subjects, so it is more challenging. Semester exams were easy and pass rate was around 70%.

Best campus experience ever.
Placements: Almost 30% of the students get placed every year. The package ranges from 6 Lacs to 9 Lacs for core companies, and for IT companies, it may go up to 20 Lacs. Top recruiters include L&T, Vedanta, Tata Power, Reliance for core electrical jobs, and for IT jobs, the recruiters include IBM, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Every student will get internships in which they won't receive any amount as a stipend (GAIL, ONGC, PGCL, etc.). There are internships that give stipends as well; Reliance is such a company. The job role for core electrical jobs will be Graduate Engineering Trainee.
Infrastructure: College facilities are mediocre. Being a government college, your expectations should be that much only. Classrooms won't have AC, and smart boards are implemented in almost every class. Labs are old, but they are nice. Hostel facility is nice as the cost is concerned. It costs only 500, but the toilets are Indian style, so it's difficult. Hostels don't have Wi-Fi facilities, so we have to take an external Wi-Fi connection, which is easily available. The School of Engineering library is not that big; it's a small one that can accommodate only 50 students at a time. It has Wi-Fi but no AC. All those books in the syllabus are available, and we can borrow the books for as long as we need. We also have access to the university library, which is super nice, having AC, Wi-Fi, and all those facilities, including a lounge facility.
Faculty: Faculty is mediocre, with middle-level knowledge in their area. I'm talking about guest faculty only. The permanent faculty members are really nice, having immense knowledge in their area. The curriculum is updated every 4 years, so it is really relevant and makes students fit for the current job requirements. The semester exam difficulty is mediocre; you can pass easily even though we revised the previous exams only.
Other: I chose this course to pursue my future education in astronomy as this course is also enough for that. Concerned about college life? It’s really nice, we are really free here, no one will get into our privacy, including teachers. Being a university campus, it’s always vibrant because of having various programs every day, which will be of different department programs. But everyone can be a part of that if you wish. For the best campus experience, CUSAT will be the best selection.

Placements: 30 percent of students have been placed in high-level companies, especially TVS, TCS, and electronics-related companies. The lowest package was 15000 per month, and the highest package was 25000 per month. The roles offered to them are electronics and communication related, robotics, IoT, and sales, etc.
Infrastructure: Free unlimited Wi-Fi campus, good lab facilities, and good lab assistance. Every time we can use the lab, digital classroom with fully functioning light and fan, big library with lots of books, hostel facilities are provided by the college, and the food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and we can ask anything to them. They are too friendly to us. Teachers are well-qualified professionals with outstanding knowledge. The course curriculum is well-relevant and easily understandable to all. It makes students industry-ready but needs to improve. Semesters are not difficult. If we study hard, we can get it. The pass percentage is 40 with an internal of 35.
Other: I like to study about electronics; that's why I chose the course. It teaches us good knowledge about technology. Practical needs to be improved more than theory. Events are there, campus crowd is there, good connectivity, good surrounding of the campus. Scholarships are provided, and extracurricular activities are there.
