Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2027

It is a very good college.
Placements: There are 80 students in our batch. Around 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA and 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Larsen and Turbo, etc. Almost 100% of students got internships in this course. As a fresher, you cannot expect to get a good position. You have to gain good experience if you want to get a good job role.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good. USAP is considered the best college at IP University. It has produced successful alumni who are doing great in their life. The studio is spacious. The library is excellent. Hostels are good. The food served in the mess is good. Sports are conducted. There are no restrictions in our hostels. Medical facilities are good. The infrastructure of this university is the best.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. All teachers are the best in their subjects. The teaching method is very unique from the first year. You will get to make models in your design subject, which will help you grow as an architect. Few teachers are not good. The course curriculum is irrelevant. Sometimes, it will enable students to achieve their preferred goals. It helps you in the future when you require it in real life. Semester exams are easy, but the main part is the jury. You have to perform well in it. All students pass, but maintaining good marks is difficult.
Other: My entire family is in the construction business, so I chose this field. The best thing about this course is that it improves our personality. This course makes you a leader. Your presentation skills become much better than other people, and you also become a salesperson because, in architecture, you sell your design, which improves your overall personality. The course is outdated as there is a rule for hand drafting for 2 years. Fests are organised. Our campus crowd is good. Events like dance, music, drama, and photography are performed. Sports like lawn tennis, volleyball, cricket, etc., are also conducted. The connectivity is good near the campus. Cafes and interesting places are available. Scholarships are provided to students.

GGSIPU review on Shiksha.
Placements: 5th year is for internships. After the internship, some companies come. Architecture is a course where there are no in campus placement. But sometimes the highest package would be approximately 3L per annum and the lowest would be 1.5L. Many students are enrolled as interns all over India in private companies and firms. Projects are done according to the firm or company like on which project that firm/ company is working on. Tasks are given in a day to day basis as per the project.
Infrastructure: Journals are available in a nicely maintained library with details. Air-conditioned rooms, sports and curriculum activities are great and happen a lot. There are musical, photography, theatre, dance societies in the university. A bed with a fan and a chair and cupboard in a room, spacious for a single person are available. The meal is good and on time buffet is given. Good catering services are present and the taste is also good. The registration process is manual and the hostel is affordable for living nearby the campus.
Faculty: It is an interest-based course and if you are willing to do it then only apply for it, because it is too technical and time taking. Faculty members are very supportive and students also take interest in that faculty members are highly educated, Modern and traditional methods of education both are taught for experience and knowledge. In a year, 2 semesters are conducted, out of which each semester has one internal in the mid and external exam at the end of the semester.
Other: The college is too good and the faculty is very helpful. Separate hostels for both girls and boys with all the facilities are there. The campus is lush green and a new campus is underway. BAD ASPECTS: As such, there are no bad aspects. I prefer this college as this college comes in top 5 in all Delhi architecture colleges and comes directly under GGSIPU which is a government University.

Overview of Guru Govind Gingh indraprastha university, dwarka campus is wonderful .
Placements: Eighty students have been placed in my course. The college placement is not applicable in Architecture. The students who have now passed out are either pursuing their Master's degree or finding placements on their own. Freelancing is the only opportunity we have unless someone refers us to others.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, and the infrastructure of the Dwarka campus is exceptional. Wi-Fi is not provided and should be added for students and faculty so that it's easier to access the internet. Classrooms are good and clean. Students like the campus as it is big and full of greenery.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is quite good, and the course curriculum is very relevant. Yes, it does make students industry-ready. The semester exams are not difficult if you have done your studies. The pass percentage is 95%.

A review of architecture course in IPU.
Placements: Students can join summer internships during the holidays College internships are done basically in the last year final year in which students practically work through the internships to get practical knowledge. Many interior designing and architectural companies approach the college to hire the students for a better experience and new opportunities for students and the development of new techniques and concepts in the market.
Infrastructure: The campus is wide enough and has all the amenities, grounds, parks, roads, parking, indoor play, outdoor play, canteen, auditoriums, kiosks, recreational spaces, annual fest - Anoogoonj every year in Feb- march books and journals are available in a nice maintained library with details airconditioned rooms sports and curriculum activities are great and happen a lot there are musical, photography, theatre, dance societies in the university. A B.Ed with fan and a chair and cupboard in a room spacious for a single person the meal is good and on time buffet is given good catering services.
Faculty: Interest-based course and if willing to do then only apply for it because it is too technical and time taking. Faculty members are very supportive and students also take interest in that faculty members are highly educated and modern and traditional methods of education both are taught for experience and knowledge In a year 2 semesters each semester has one internal in the mid and external exam at the end of the semester.
Other: Age limit - Candidates should be 21 years old as of August 1, 2022 Nationality - candidates should be Indian Nationals Academic Requirements - Candidates should have passed the 12th standard from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks or should have a Diploma from a recognised university (central or state) with a minimum of 50% marks NATA - candidates should have a valid NATA 2022 score.

USAR - the real-life experience of University School of Aviation and Robotics.
Placements: Since my course is Bachelor of Architecture, usually no college provides any kind of internships; students find them on their own or start their own initiatives. However, the college also facilitates internships during our 4th and 5th years. Moreover, the college provides internships and placements to students in renowned companies like DLF INFRAS. The college's alumni are also successful architects working in various fields.
Infrastructure: Bachelor of Architecture has now been shifted to the Surajmal Vihar branch of GGSIPU, where the entire building is equipped with centralized AC, including the canteen and washrooms. The infrastructure is superb, with modern facilities such as labs, studios, and a library. The college also provides hostels where each room accommodates three people at ₹45,000 per annum, including a bed and almirah. There are proper laundry and mess facilities, although the food quality in the mess, costing ₹70,000 per annum, is not good.
Faculty: The faculty is highly experienced, with two faculty members assigned per subject: one aged between 55-65 years and the other a newly joined faculty. This combination helps us study and understand topics from both modern and experienced perspectives.
Other: However, the canteen and mess facilities need improvement, and the college does not provide transport facilities, which causes discomfort to students. The campus is spacious, with separate halls for different events like sports and auditorium activities. The main fest, ANUUGOONJ, organized by the college, is held mainly in February.

Q:   Is B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at GGSIPU worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.A. LL.B. (Hons) students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

* Placement Cell: The placement cell is active, but placements are not very encouraging. Most students opt for individual advocacy or small law firms, offering average salaries ranging from INR3-INR4 Lacs per annum. Top roles offered are those of a legal associate, with some students securing internships with renowned law firms.
* Faculty: Teachers are generally knowledgeable, but some may lack enthusiasm. The permanent faculty members are helpful and supportive, while guest lecturers from the field bring valuable industry experience.
* Infrastructure: The college has modern infrastructure, including air-conditioned classrooms, a dedicated law library, and Wi-Fi-enabled premises. Hostels are comfortable, with single occupancy rooms and decent food facilities.
* Extracurricular Activities: The college organizes various events, fests, and seminars, providing opportunities for students to develop their skills and interests.
* Campus Life: The campus is lively, with a mix of students from diverse backgrounds. The location in Sector 16, Dwarka, is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and amenities.

However, some concerns were raised regarding:

* Teaching Pedagogy: Some students felt that the teaching method was traditional and lacked innovation, making learning less engaging.
* Curriculum: While the curriculum is relevant, some students believed it didn't prepare them adequately for the industry.
* Internship Opportunities: Although some students secured internships, others reported limited opportunities and irregularity in payment structures.

Overall, whether or not the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programme at GGSIPU is "worth the investment" depends on individual goals and expectations. For those seeking a strong theoretical foundation and willing to pursue individual advocacy or smaller law firms, the programme may be suitable. However, for those looking for higher-paying jobs or extensive internship opportunities, alternative options may be more beneficial.

Sorry to say, but you will not get any college on the basis of your NATA and JEE Mains paper 2 scores. The reasons are: 90+ marks are considered as NATA cutoff for various government colleges. 300+ marks are considered as JEE Mains paper 2 cutoff for NITs and government colleges.
