Review Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
Placements: The salary packages are not good. Our college provides sales jobs. Companies like Decathlon, Pizza Hut, etc., visit our college. After this course, students can get a salary package of 3 LPA - 3.5 LPA. Around 1 out of 10 students got placed on campus. You should have good skills to get placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like playgrounds, basketball courts, Wi-Fi, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are good but strict. The relationship between teachers and students is good. They are concerned about our marks and attendance. They provide important questions for internal exams. If we follow them, we can pass exams easily. They are very supportive. They help us to enhance our skills.
Other: Our college has only a few students. You have to take the permission of the HOD to go out of the college.

There is one teacher to 28-30 students, which is the average ratio in my programme.
Placements: Our college provides many placement opportunities for every level of student. I remember around 51% of students got placements in many excellent companies like Wipro, etc. Roles offered in our college include many posts like an accountant, etc., and even in managerial level. Overall, there are the best placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and the seats are comfortable. The infrastructure available in our department includes a table, attached chairs and many classrooms with air-conditioners also. Labs are very good in our college, especially for medical students.
Faculty: The faculty members of North Campus are the best I have ever seen. The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very supportive and are always available whenever we need them. But teachers are just like in any other college. Very few teachers are interested in teaching, and most of them are just doing their job. You have to study on your own with the help of seniors and the internet. Some teachers are helpful, and their teaching quality is also the best. The course curriculum is relevant. The difficulty level of exams is not much if you study.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the curriculum.
Placements: In our batch, approximately 90% of students were placed, showcasing the effectiveness of our course in preparing us for the job market. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, while the lowest was 3 LPA, with an average package of 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included XYZ Corp, ABC Tech, and 123 Solutions, known for hiring talent from our course. About 70% of students secured internships, with placements at companies like Tech Innovators, Future Tech Ltd., and Global Solutions Inc. The top roles offered were Software Developer, Data Analyst, and Product Manager, reflecting the diverse opportunities available to us.
Infrastructure: Our course infrastructure is well-equipped, featuring high-speed Wi-Fi, modern laboratories, and spacious classrooms that facilitate an engaging learning environment. The library is stocked with a wide range of resources, including textbooks, research papers, and online databases, allowing for comprehensive study support. As for hostel facilities, they are generally satisfactory, offering clean accommodations and essential amenities. The mess and canteen provide decent food options, catering to various dietary preferences, while medical facilities are readily available for student needs. Additionally, there are good provisions for sports and games, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle on campus.
Faculty: The faculty for our course is highly qualified, experienced, and approachable, contributing positively to the overall learning experience. They are knowledgeable in their fields and always willing to assist students, enhancing the teaching quality significantly. The course curriculum is relevant and aligns well with industry demands, effectively preparing students for real-world challenges. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a pass percentage of around 85%, indicating that the curriculum is both rigorous and achievable. Overall, the combination of supportive faculty and a well-structured curriculum ensures that students are industry-ready upon graduation.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for the subject matter and its relevance to emerging industry trends. The best aspects of the program include hands-on learning opportunities, industry-relevant projects, and access to experienced faculty who provide valuable insights. The curriculum is designed to encourage critical thinking and creativity, which I find immensely beneficial. However, I wish there were improvements in industry interaction through guest lectures and workshops, as well as more internship opportunities that align closely with our coursework. This would enhance practical exposure and better prepare us for the workforce. The campus is vibrant, with a lively crowd that fosters a sense of community. Regular events and fests offer students a chance to showcase their talents and network with peers. Connectivity is generally good, making it easy to access nearby facilities and the city. The campus surroundings are pleasant, featuring green spaces and study areas that promote relaxation and focus. Additionally, the availability of scholarships and financial aid options has been helpful for many students, encouraging diversity within the batch. Extracurricular activities are actively promoted, allowing students to engage in sports, arts, and cultural events, which contribute to a well-rounded college experience.

Review of GGSIPU - Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed in known firms. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Some students from our course got an internship in their 2nd year. The university conducts monthly seminars. The college offers several roles like HR, marketing and sales.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is great, and the availability of all resources is fulfilled. In the hostel, rooms and mess are good as expected, and the food served is eatable. Both outdoor and indoor games available are great with good coaches. Medical facilities are awesome. All the major medicines are also available for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were well informed and what to teach on a daily basis. They are knowledgeable. There is an issue with some faculty members, and they demotivate some students. Other activities conducted at our college play a good role among students. They are ready to provide their knowledge for students.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in marketing and business development, and all sources of connectivity are convenient.

The college is good for education department and not for management department.
Placements: There were no placements for management students in our college, but from the education department, the maximum number of students got placed in many reputed schools as a fresher with good salary packages. All the students from all departments got internships in different companies, schools and banks. B.Ed students got trained in well-reputed schools. Companies like Safal visited our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are huge. Our college has two libraries, one for each department. Good quality equipment is available for different types of games and sports. Medical facilities are not much good. Our college has a large playground to conduct different activities.
Faculty: Our college has good faculty members for the education department, but the faculty members in the management department were only good in the year 2014-2015. In my 1st and 3rd years, faculty members were bad. Teachers were not much helpful and inexperienced. They were rude with students.
Other: Our college organised extracurricular activities like fest and many competitions which were great, and students had lots of fun.

Q:   Is B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at GGSIPU worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.A. LL.B. (Hons) students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

* Placement Cell: The placement cell is active, but placements are not very encouraging. Most students opt for individual advocacy or small law firms, offering average salaries ranging from INR3-INR4 Lacs per annum. Top roles offered are those of a legal associate, with some students securing internships with renowned law firms.
* Faculty: Teachers are generally knowledgeable, but some may lack enthusiasm. The permanent faculty members are helpful and supportive, while guest lecturers from the field bring valuable industry experience.
* Infrastructure: The college has modern infrastructure, including air-conditioned classrooms, a dedicated law library, and Wi-Fi-enabled premises. Hostels are comfortable, with single occupancy rooms and decent food facilities.
* Extracurricular Activities: The college organizes various events, fests, and seminars, providing opportunities for students to develop their skills and interests.
* Campus Life: The campus is lively, with a mix of students from diverse backgrounds. The location in Sector 16, Dwarka, is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and amenities.

However, some concerns were raised regarding:

* Teaching Pedagogy: Some students felt that the teaching method was traditional and lacked innovation, making learning less engaging.
* Curriculum: While the curriculum is relevant, some students believed it didn't prepare them adequately for the industry.
* Internship Opportunities: Although some students secured internships, others reported limited opportunities and irregularity in payment structures.

Overall, whether or not the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programme at GGSIPU is "worth the investment" depends on individual goals and expectations. For those seeking a strong theoretical foundation and willing to pursue individual advocacy or smaller law firms, the programme may be suitable. However, for those looking for higher-paying jobs or extensive internship opportunities, alternative options may be more beneficial.

Q:   Is GGSIPU good for B.Voc?

A:
{Source: B.Voc students & alumni}

Here's what our analysis reveals:

* Placement: Unfortunately, placements are poor for B.Voc students, with only 4-5 students being selected by private companies like Samsung, ThoughtWorks, and Tata Power every year. This has worsened post-COVID.
* Faculty: While some teachers are good, others are inexperienced and unhelpful. Homework assignments are often given without guidance, making self-study essential.
* Curriculum: The syllabus is designed to be industry-ready, but students need to put in extra effort to learn.
* Infra: Infrastructure is subpar, with a dusty library and average classrooms. The lack of hostels for B.Voc students is another concern.
* Scholarship: Scholarships are available, but we couldn't gather detailed information on the process.

In summary, while GGSIPU has its strengths (e.g., good connectivity), B.Voc students face significant challenges in terms of placement, faculty experience, and infrastructural shortcomings. We recommend exploring other options carefully before choosing GGSIPU for your B.Voc program.
