    Dissatisfied with the environment of college.
    Placements: Zero placements drive held for our batch but one can still go for Ph.D. judiciary and CS legal practitioner etc. LL.M. is mostly for people for research work or those who want to grab some big opportunity and need time for it, so meanwhile they can pursue LL.M. LL.B. is sufficient in itself.
    Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for the students, labs, library and classrooms are air-conditioned. Hostel facility is also present, 2 for boys and 3 for girls as it is a main campus of IPU. Mess and canteen facility are also good, good quality of food is served. Medical facility is also present here for hostel students as well.
    Faculty: Faculty is rude, and do not entertain student in the need. They do not listen to the students and their queries well. Curriculum is also old according to current scenarios. One can pass the semester exam easily but need to learn mostly on their own.

    A good government university.
    Placements: Our university has a dedicated internship and placement cell. But to be honest it is not very active but they are doing fine in recent years. And most of the students are hardworking and they secure the internships on their own merit and by their sheer hardware. Also the environment for government exams are there and every year students crack it.
    Infrastructure: Since the university was built in 2008 and it has great infrastructure. It spans more than 60 acres. The number of hostels are four in which two are boys hostel and two are girls hostel. You get a single room in hostel which is great. And the number of students in the hostel are also not very much which makes it less crowded from study point of view. The University also consist a canteen, amul parlour and a Nescafe joint.
    Faculty: I would say average some of them are excellent but some are par average. The curriculum is relevant but it need to be revised to the current situation. The exams are pretty good and the pass percentage is 40 percent for law department. Overall it is satisfactory.

    Q:   Is B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at GGSIPU worth the investment?

    A:
    {Source: B.A. LL.B. (Hons) students & alumni}

    Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

    * Placement Cell: The placement cell is active, but placements are not very encouraging. Most students opt for individual advocacy or small law firms, offering average salaries ranging from INR3-INR4 Lacs per annum. Top roles offered are those of a legal associate, with some students securing internships with renowned law firms.
    * Faculty: Teachers are generally knowledgeable, but some may lack enthusiasm. The permanent faculty members are helpful and supportive, while guest lecturers from the field bring valuable industry experience.
    * Infrastructure: The college has modern infrastructure, including air-conditioned classrooms, a dedicated law library, and Wi-Fi-enabled premises. Hostels are comfortable, with single occupancy rooms and decent food facilities.
    * Extracurricular Activities: The college organizes various events, fests, and seminars, providing opportunities for students to develop their skills and interests.
    * Campus Life: The campus is lively, with a mix of students from diverse backgrounds. The location in Sector 16, Dwarka, is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and amenities.

    However, some concerns were raised regarding:

    * Teaching Pedagogy: Some students felt that the teaching method was traditional and lacked innovation, making learning less engaging.
    * Curriculum: While the curriculum is relevant, some students believed it didn't prepare them adequately for the industry.
    * Internship Opportunities: Although some students secured internships, others reported limited opportunities and irregularity in payment structures.

    Overall, whether or not the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programme at GGSIPU is "worth the investment" depends on individual goals and expectations. For those seeking a strong theoretical foundation and willing to pursue individual advocacy or smaller law firms, the programme may be suitable. However, for those looking for higher-paying jobs or extensive internship opportunities, alternative options may be more beneficial.

    Q:   Is GGSIPU good for B.Voc?

    A:
    {Source: B.Voc students & alumni}

    Here's what our analysis reveals:

    * Placement: Unfortunately, placements are poor for B.Voc students, with only 4-5 students being selected by private companies like Samsung, ThoughtWorks, and Tata Power every year. This has worsened post-COVID.
    * Faculty: While some teachers are good, others are inexperienced and unhelpful. Homework assignments are often given without guidance, making self-study essential.
    * Curriculum: The syllabus is designed to be industry-ready, but students need to put in extra effort to learn.
    * Infra: Infrastructure is subpar, with a dusty library and average classrooms. The lack of hostels for B.Voc students is another concern.
    * Scholarship: Scholarships are available, but we couldn't gather detailed information on the process.

    In summary, while GGSIPU has its strengths (e.g., good connectivity), B.Voc students face significant challenges in terms of placement, faculty experience, and infrastructural shortcomings. We recommend exploring other options carefully before choosing GGSIPU for your B.Voc program.
