{Source: M.E./M.Tech students & alumni}

Pros:

* Good placements: Many students reported getting placed in top companies, with average salaries ranging from 10-12 LPA and the highest packages going up to 45 LPA.
* Decent infrastructure: Students appreciated the college's infrastructure, including the library, labs, and hostels, saying they are well-maintained and offer a comfortable environment for studying.
* Helpful faculty: While some teachers may not be enthusiastic about teaching, many students praised their knowledge and willingness to help with queries.
* Festivals and events: Reviewers mentioned that the college has a lively campus life, with regular festivals and events, including Anugoonj, which attracts a large number of visitors.

Cons:

* Teaching quality: Some students felt that the teaching quality could be improved, citing instances of unengaged teachers or difficulty in grasping certain concepts.
* Limited hands-on experience: A few reviewers mentioned that the course lacks practical exposure, with some students feeling that they didn't get enough opportunities to apply what they learned in real-world scenarios.
* High expectations vs reality: Some students expressed disappointment due to mismatched expectations regarding placements, curriculum, or faculty engagement.

I recommend every student to choose this college for studying.
Placements: I think this is the best university for studying because, from our course, about 85% of the students got placed. Around 50% to 65% of the students get placed in companies from our course. There are many recruiting companies for this course because there will be the best students in this college.
Infrastructure: As I have been studying and living in this area, there are good and excellent facilities for hospitals and medical. Good and tasty food is provided in the hostel here. Many grounds are constructed and maintained by the university fund for students to play sports and games in their free time.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and qualified in their subjects. They have better teaching skills. Many teachers are well experienced and are from all over the country. Most of the teachers qualified in GATE, NET, IIT and UPSC interface exams. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course in this university because there are brilliant teachers, and also many students qualified from this university.

There are good infrastructure and facilities. There is a scope for improvement in placements.
Placements: Placements for the senior batches have been good. Although, it's being said that the students studying corporate communication get most of the placement opportunities and that's an issue for other specialisations. So, that is where the college has to improve more and that's what I would suggest.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the whole campus is quite good. The classrooms, canteen and library, are provided with essential equipment. Although, there can be improvements in computer labs and the library. Further, I would say that the infrastructure of our college is being improved consistently.
Faculty: Faculty members are learned, experienced and helpful. The course curriculum can be improved with more industry exposure. Overall, I think everything is fine with the faculty, and the course curriculum is quite helpful for students here.

Happy about the faculty, but infrastructure could be improved.
Placements: Our course is a skill-based course. Thus, placements are only conducted for the students studying corporate communication. Overall, the placement rates were not too pleasing. There is a placement cell in the college. I am not too sure about other courses, but the placement cell is hardly any help for us.
Infrastructure: The size of the university is quite impressive. It is vast and finely maintained regarding greenery. Long walks in the campus are a bliss. The university has a canteen along with Nescafe and Amul outlets. Even though the outlets are a good resort, the university needs to work in building up a better canteen. The quality of food and menu offered can be improved. The university provides good Wi-Fi connectivity and sports facilities. USMC classrooms are spacious with working ACs. But the infrastructure needs improvement.
Faculty: USMC faculty ratio is good enough as per the number of students in the department. Most of them are highly qualified and experienced. Their teaching methods are helpful, and the course is well-designed. The department does not provide enough guest lectures or field visits for industry exposure.
Other: The university organises two annual events; Anugoonj as an annual fest and an annual sports meet. Both the events are a three-day extravaganza and are popular amongst the students all over. Other than this, there are various activities organised around the year by different societies and schools in the university. The university offers a scholarship and a gold medal to the topper of every school. Hostel facilities are appreciated, and the library is a cherry on the cake. It is large with all the latest technological tools. It is spacious and well-managed. Located in the other corner of the city, the campus in Dwarka is quite far for a majority of students. However, it is well-connected to the metro station. The infrastructure needs improvement, and the campus is not the safest place during monsoons. The campus area is heavily waterlogged during heavy rains.

Other: The entire university is nice and in fact, the campus is great. It has limited food options to choose from in the canteen. The department of mass communication (USMC) is partially built and have limited infrastructure as well as limited faculty. Few teachers are extremely good with the subject whereas some are just average. Infrastructure is not good in terms of equipment.

It was a great experience but I felt it could have been better.
Placements: Very few students got placements through college. The college was very supportive of the students. We struggled to get jobs or internships. The staff could've been more helpful when it came to opportunities but overall it was fine.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was great. The food in the mess and canteen was amazing. I never experienced the hostel life of my college but the canteen was to die for. The food was amazing. Talking about sports and games, our college was pretty good at it. A lot of students used to participate.
Faculty: The course and the contents were great. The course could have been better for sure. The course I pursued was Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication. It has a great scope in future. The college could have contributed more in making students ready for the industry.

Q:   Is B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at GGSIPU worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.A. LL.B. (Hons) students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

* Placement Cell: The placement cell is active, but placements are not very encouraging. Most students opt for individual advocacy or small law firms, offering average salaries ranging from INR3-INR4 Lacs per annum. Top roles offered are those of a legal associate, with some students securing internships with renowned law firms.
* Faculty: Teachers are generally knowledgeable, but some may lack enthusiasm. The permanent faculty members are helpful and supportive, while guest lecturers from the field bring valuable industry experience.
* Infrastructure: The college has modern infrastructure, including air-conditioned classrooms, a dedicated law library, and Wi-Fi-enabled premises. Hostels are comfortable, with single occupancy rooms and decent food facilities.
* Extracurricular Activities: The college organizes various events, fests, and seminars, providing opportunities for students to develop their skills and interests.
* Campus Life: The campus is lively, with a mix of students from diverse backgrounds. The location in Sector 16, Dwarka, is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and amenities.

However, some concerns were raised regarding:

* Teaching Pedagogy: Some students felt that the teaching method was traditional and lacked innovation, making learning less engaging.
* Curriculum: While the curriculum is relevant, some students believed it didn't prepare them adequately for the industry.
* Internship Opportunities: Although some students secured internships, others reported limited opportunities and irregularity in payment structures.

Overall, whether or not the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programme at GGSIPU is "worth the investment" depends on individual goals and expectations. For those seeking a strong theoretical foundation and willing to pursue individual advocacy or smaller law firms, the programme may be suitable. However, for those looking for higher-paying jobs or extensive internship opportunities, alternative options may be more beneficial.

Q:   Is GGSIPU good for B.Voc?

A:
{Source: B.Voc students & alumni}

Here's what our analysis reveals:

* Placement: Unfortunately, placements are poor for B.Voc students, with only 4-5 students being selected by private companies like Samsung, ThoughtWorks, and Tata Power every year. This has worsened post-COVID.
* Faculty: While some teachers are good, others are inexperienced and unhelpful. Homework assignments are often given without guidance, making self-study essential.
* Curriculum: The syllabus is designed to be industry-ready, but students need to put in extra effort to learn.
* Infra: Infrastructure is subpar, with a dusty library and average classrooms. The lack of hostels for B.Voc students is another concern.
* Scholarship: Scholarships are available, but we couldn't gather detailed information on the process.

In summary, while GGSIPU has its strengths (e.g., good connectivity), B.Voc students face significant challenges in terms of placement, faculty experience, and infrastructural shortcomings. We recommend exploring other options carefully before choosing GGSIPU for your B.Voc program.
