A: 

The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is 67 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category, one can not afford to score less than this. The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 434. In 2022, it decreased to 369. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 274 to 304 for OBC, 128 to 135 for SC, 80 to 102 for ST, 117 to 114 for EWS, 52 to 38 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow.     Placements: Our college provides 100% placements for students. The highest salary package offered is 1 CPA. The lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top roles offered are design, control, and implement electrical systems and products, control engineer, test engineer, and electrical project manager.

Our college provides many facilities like a huge gymkhana, well-equipped labs, air-conditioned classrooms, and digital projectors. All sports are available in our college.     IIT Bombay admission to all the courses is entrance-based (Except for EMBA, where admission is merit-based and performance in the interview round). The IIT Bombay admission process includes the application process, selection round, cutoff, merit list or counselling and other steps. For BTech, candidates have to clear JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Further for other courses such as MTech, MBA, MSc, BDes, and MDes, aspirants need to clear GATE, CAT, IITJAM, UCEED, and CEED, respectively to qualify for further admission rounds.

    Q:   Can I join IIT Bombay after Class 12?

    A: 

    Admission to the institute after Class 12 is open for BTech, BS and BDes courses. After completing Class 12, candidates must qualify JEE Main, JEE Advanced followed by the JoSAA Counselling for BTech and BS courses. For BDes, UCEED score is required for admission.
