HONEST REVIEW OF IGDTUW. Satisfactory placement record. Dissatisfied by small campus area .
Placements: Total placement percentage is 83%, and placement is very good. The highest package of last year is 59 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. All top companies come for placement, for example, Microsoft, Google, D.E. Shaw, Swiggy, Zomato. Companies also come for internships, but internship opportunities are less. Only 20% of students get internships, and companies also give pre-placement offers after internships. Roles offered by companies are SDE, Embedded Engineer, Data Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have AC and Wi-Fi. The campus area is small, but the infrastructure is good. The library is big. Hostels are good; rooms in the hostel are neat and clean. Hostel rooms have AC. Mess food quality is not that good, but it is good enough for survival. The sports complex is big, and you can play any sports you want. Medical facilities are not good; there is only one medical room, which is closed most of the time.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and some teachers are Ph.D. qualified from IITs, and some have foreign Ph.D. also. Teaching quality is good, but the course was not that much updated to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy; you can easily score a good CGPA by studying 7 days before mid-sem and 15 days before end-sem. The passing percentage is 97%.
Other: It has one annual cultural fest whose name is Trangana. The state government provides scholarships like MCM. I chose this course and college because I want good placement. The college is located at a walking distance from the Kashmiri Gate metro station.

Average college, college life, and above-average placement.
Placements: Placements are good; the highest CTC for the year 2022 was around INR 80 lacs. Most of the students get placed and companies like Oracle, Facebook, Uber, Google, etc. visit. Many people get internship offers in the 3rd year itself with a good stipend. Overall, there is a good placement scenario.
Infrastructure: The hostel and the mess food are average—good at best. The classrooms can be a bit better; fans are very slow in some rooms. There are too many monkeys on the campus. Labs are good too; they are well-equipped. The Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time, though. The library is also good and spacious.
Faculty: Some teachers are qualified and helpful; some can't be bothered with teaching. Exams are pretty easy and you can score well if you start studying a week before. The course structure is good and lies with the field. Teachers are helpful and guide you if you need any help.

Good placements but otherwise poor infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: The placements for ECE have been good however the first batch of ECE-AI is yet to graduate so there is no statistical data regarding this particular branch. However, in 3rd year more than 50% people were able to get internships I. e on campus for the branch ECE- AI. Most students are placed in teach and software companies only with multiple students opting the off campus offers that include companies like microsoft etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor. The buildings are old and the electronics department gets very hot during summers with poor ventilation in classrooms. Infrastructure of IT block is better compared to ECE. Washrooms of ECE building are horrible. There is no cleanliness and the sell sometimes reaches even the classrooms. The projector of ECE classrooms rarely works. Library is average. It is fully AC with enough space to sit and study. The decorum and cleanliness is also well maintained. There is a badminton court behind IT block but it's mostly a hangout spot for monkeys and therefore not many students play there. The labs are average and fully AC. The systems are outdated however.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and most teach sufficient for the exams. Most of the teachers are PhDs and quite knowledgeable. However, when it comes to exams, students need to prepare themselves for the environment is much different from schools. Teachers only help when you seek them out. There is no spoon feeding. Course curriculum for ECE AI is fresh and more up to date as compared to ECE due to which most students are now referring ECE AI. Due to the integration of AI, students are required to learn multiple coding languages which keep them at par with CSAI students. Many subjects are similar to CS-AI. Exams are moderate difficult. Students can get an idea looking at the past year papers. The pass percentage is good enough with multiple students also averaging around 9 GPA each semester.
Other: With my percentile, this was the best suited course I could find. I opted ECE ai because of the curriculum being fresh and updated as compared to ECE. Best things about my course is its overlap between the electronics as well as software industry. I wish the lab and projects and overall hands on experience were better. In labs, we can get along with simply doing those age old experiments mentioned in the syllabus which leave no excitement or curiosity on the student' part. The campus life is underwhelming. The societies are rarely active with only the dance and drama societies being more active than the others. The campus is small due to which fests are also underwhelming with limited number of same old stalls like last year. There are a lot of monkeys in the campus that sometimes attack on students to snatch the things they have in hand. Connectivity to Kashmere GATE is great with the GATE no.7 being at just a 5 min walk from the campus. Campus is shared with the Ambedkar University crowd. One can find more ambedkar students changing around IGDTUW campus than IGDTUW girls on a fine day.

    Our college provides excellent placements.
Placements: Placements are excellent. Top recruiting companies are Google and Adobe. You will get enough opportunity to shine and get a decent salary package for every department. The highest salary package offered ranges between 50 LPA - 55 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 20 LPA. You will get an amazing stipend if you get an internship.
Infrastructure: Our campus is not huge. The infrastructure is decent. Our campus is surrounded by trees. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. We have both digital and physical libraries. The library is not big, but you will get plenty of books for every course. Classrooms are spacious. All classrooms are air-conditioned. Hostel facilities are average. The food served in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. Few of them have done their master's degrees from top institutions like IITs. The course curriculum is relevant. They introduce new subjects as well as new branches. We have many branches like AIML, CSE, AI, and ECE. Semester exams are not difficult and you will not be pressurized here.

    IGDTUW Detailed Review 2023.

Infrastructure: According to the government our college is a heritage sight. We have full Wi-Fi connection throughout the campus. AC, Labs are well-equipped and the Library have sufficient books. We also have a basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court and a ground.
Faculty: Most of the professors are very helpful and have a brief lesson plan always ready to help you. They always help you with assignments and doubts.
