The college has one of the most extensive campuses. So the crowd is pretty good.
Placements: Above 90% of this year's passing batch students were placed. The highest CTC was over 20 Lacs. Many students of our batch were offered roles in core companies. Also, data scientists had many offers for this year's passing batch.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are decent. Most of the classrooms are equipped with smart boards. The new hostels are excellent and clean. Wi-Fi is not there in hostels, but every room is equipped with a LAN port. The food available in a mess is decent. Some days the food is good, while you may compromise others.
Faculty: The attendance required for a semester is 85%. Some teachers are constructive and approachable. The teachers are highly qualified—most of them research tonnes of projects. So if you want to do research, this is one of the best colleges in India.
Other: Since it is a national-level college, it probably has one of the best crowds. Also, the fest which is organised there is well organised.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and good placements in 2022.
Placements: 100 percent of students were placed in this course. The highest package offered is around 20lpa and the lowest will be around 5lpa. The average is 8 LPA. So many top recruiting companies arrive during college placements. 90 percent of students got internships from this course and in good companies.
Infrastructure: Really good facilities and infrastructure are available for this course. There is good Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. So many books are available in the library. Good Wi-Fi signal in hostel rooms and good infrastructure is available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good enough. It makes the students industry ready. Very difficult semester exams are conducted in this college.

One of the top NITs of India.
Placements: Last year, 89 percent of the students were placed. 00 percent placement in 3 branches and more than 90 percent placement in 10 branches. The highest package was 81 lpa, while the lowest was 3.6 lpa. The average package stood at 13.1 lpa. Almost all top companies recruit here.
Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure and facilities that are favorable for the students to get a good environment to study and work for their career. The hostel facility is average. The food in the hostel is good but, of course, not like our home. Hostels are well-equipped with all the required facilities.
Faculty: Highly qualified teachers teach here. All of them are masters in their fields. Theory and practice are given equal importance here. The labs are equipped with the required equipment. Students get to know about all the required equipment in their respective industries. Semester exams are on par with teaching ability. 95 percent of students pass the exams.
Other: Fests are amazing and happening. I am glad to get into this college.

Our college is one of the best among all the NITs.
Placements: Almost 90% of students in our branch were placed in different companies. We can also work for software companies as we belong to the chemical engineering branch. The average salary package was around 6-7 LPA and the highest salary package was 22 LPA. A lot of companies visit here, including MNCs and start-up companies.
Infrastructure: Being a national level college, the facilities provided here are really decent. Our college has a decent library with lots of books. The mess is also good. We get food four times a week, and the quality is also decent. The canteen is open from 7–10 pm. During exams, the canteen is open till midnight.
Faculty: Most of our faculty members are PhD holders. They are really helpful and cooperative. The course curriculum is also good. There are decent research labs. Students here explore lots of things. There are also lots of clubs here to explore different things.
Other: This is a national-level college, so the quality of education will be good. Students in our college are all mainly qualified with a decent rank. The campus size is really big and there are lots of things to learn and improve your skills.

It provides top-notch infrastructure and campus life to be remembered forever.
Placements: Placements are just like any other top 5 NITs in the country. The core placements are better here because of the industries around. Approximately 80% of students are placed in chemical engineering. Many of the rest have opted for higher studies abroad. ExxonMobil is one of the mass recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent and the campus is big just after IIT Kharagpur. Wi-Fi is good, laboratories are well-equipped, and the library is also very well maintained. Hostel life is good, many sports events are organised often. Two playgrounds are available, and faculty matches are very common.
Faculty: Like any other government colleges, not all professors are guaranteed to teach students efficiently although there is no doubt about their qualifications. Nevertheless, NIT Rourkela is the top NIT in terms of higher education and research area also it is globally recognized with 22 faculty members belonging to the top 2% of professors in the world.

Chemical Engineering is way better than civil in NITK. People usually go for civil if they don't get any. Even if you are interested in civil, go for chemical in NITK. It is far better in placements and internships.
