A good university with highly qualified faculty members and well-mainatined instrasructure.

Placements: The companies have just started to recruit for our branch. L & T, Development Alternatives, Lovely Professional University and some other organization are visiting or likely to recruit. As in our department, students have to complete their thesis outside the university in other research organization/industries; many students have got pre-placement offers from many organizations. The highest PPO package offered is 4.5 lacs P.A. and the minimum is 1.8 lacs P.A. (till April 2017). But it would have been more beneficial if more companies visit the university.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is overall good. The Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the campus. The library is well-maintained. You can find a huge stock of text as well as reference books. Moreover, the university has access to many journals/publications. The medical facility is where I would say it lacked a bit. It is opened till 6-7 PM in the evening. But the good thing is they bear all the expenses when they refer students to the hospitals. Proper indoor and outdoor sports complexes are maintained inside the campus. Many athletic meets are being held at the university campus. tHE Classrooms and labs are well-maintained and are furnished with AC. There are proper instruments are available in the labs. Also, the food quality in the canteen and THE hostels is good.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and helpful. Various practical approaches are being used to have a better understanding of the topics. A number of small projects are assigned by the faculties at regular interval. The faculty to student ration in the school of energy and environment is around 1:3. But for UG students in other departments, it is not much good as the number of students are much more. Many industrial visits are done for practical understanding.
