Infrastructure and faculty are okay. The pressure is manageable if you aim for off-campus jobs.
Placements: Focused on research and students mostly aim for higher studies and prepare accordingly. There are no major placement drives or companies visiting. However, academic pressure isn't very high so students can prepare themselves for off-campus placements if they want in their free time.
Infrastructure: The department has enough computer systems which are of good specification and have wired internet access. There is Wi-Fi coverage in the department, although students don't use it much. Other labs have most of the required equipment, such as basic electronic components, ICs, oscilloscopes, microprocessor kits, etc. Classrooms are large and equipped with ACs and projectors. There is a large central library in the university, which has enough books and a comfortable seating area.
Faculty: The faculty are knowledgeable and eager to help. Teaching quality is good for most teachers, there is always one subject per semester whose lecturer is not satisfactory. The course curriculum is similar to that of other engineering colleges. Not very up-to-date. Coding specific subjects or job-relevant topics is not emphasized enough. Students may have to rely on other sources to get an in-depth understanding of the subject matter. Passing exams is easy. Failing in lab subjects is almost impossible (since they result in a wasted year). With a little bit of consistent effort, it is not difficult to get 8+ SGPA. Semester exam questions are easy, moderate, or difficult and cover only what is taught in class (not unnecessarily as per curriculum) .
Other: There is lack of coding culture, which is present in most other half-decent engineering colleges. Overall, the campus is large and beautiful, almost annoyingly large at times. There is an annual departmental festival, which is enjoyable. There are also annual events in each hostel which everyone can attend. The department could benefit from taking more proactive measures to encourage job-oriented students, especially as B.Tech batches have started and a lot of students don't aim for higher studies immediately. The university is in a well-reachable and connected spot by train and other public transport. Besides university hostel, there are affordable PGs nearby. There are not a lot of other activities like hobby clubs, etc. Not a very "happening" place. University management is very slow; you'll be writing lots of "applications" if you want to get anything done. The faculty and staff can be helpful and will help you, though.

Review of University of Kalyani.
Placements: Around 30-40% of students got placed in our college. Companies are very concerned to select eligible candidates. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The average salary package offered is 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 13 LPA. Tata, Reliance, Wipro, Microsoft, etc., visit our college. Many students got internships.
Infrastructure: We have many classrooms and very well-equipped labs. Labs have high-end computers. We have a well-managed library with many books. The Wi-Fi speed is good. We have a very huge and beautiful hostel, a great mess, and a very huge sports complex to play cricket. The mess provides good food.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good. They won't clear our doubts. The curriculum is quite outdated. The syllabus should be changed. Semester exams are quite difficult to pass. The pass percentage is 56%. Many students fail exams.

In my opinion, it is an average college in terms of placements, exams, etc.
Placements: On average, around 67 percent of students were placed. The highest package is 45 LPA; the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Hitachi, Wipro, Infosys, and TCS are the best recruiters. Almost 70–80 percent got internships at TCS, Wipro, Hitachi, and Infosys. Testing software design. By the above point, it is somewhat better in placement.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi facilities in every department. Labs and library facilities were also available at the college. Hostel facilities were also offered to the students. Each hostel has a facility for sports equipment and an adjoining wide field for playing football, cricket, and badminton. Hygienic food is also available in the mess, and canteens are also available.
Faculty: They are good, and their teaching quality should need to improve. They are also cooperative. It makes students industry-ready. You should have a minimum CGPA. It is not much more difficult than you expected, and you can pass easily and score a good CGPA.
Other: Not for any specific reason, but it was literally quite impressive in my course. In my course, teaching should be improved. It creates an environment that encourages all students to participate in campus life.

Review of University of Kalyani.
Placements: The placement process is very smooth. Our alumni invite companies to our college. The highest salary package offered this year is 55 LPA. Recruiting companies are Reliance, Microsoft, Tata, etc. More than 50% of students got placed in our college. Many students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Our computer labs are very old and have very low specs computers. All classrooms are huge. We have a library. It is a perfect place to study. The hostel is great. It provides good food. The warden is good.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful. They have higher degrees in computer science. They worked in MNCs. The teaching quality is great. The course makes students ready for the industry. The curriculum is well-structured. The syllabus is perfect. It includes practicals. Exams are easy if we study well.
