It is a place to learn and grow.
Placements: Only 10% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 75,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 18,000 per month. The average salary offered ranges between Rs. 25,000-30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Future Group, Syntel, BNP Paribas, Godrej and Taj visit our campus for placements. Top roles like human resource executives, assistant manager are offered to the students. The highest salary package offered in our course was 9 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.15 LPA. Almost 70% of the students got an internship from our course in different sectors.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like library, Wi-Fi facility, classrooms, online learning classroom, psychology labs, counselling centres, canteen, etc. Quality of the food served is decent. The hostel facilities were good, and I have heard about it. There are 5 canteens inside the campus. Each of them has different menus and different levels of hygiene. There is food available right outside the campus as well, so there is no problem for students to get good food.
Faculty: Our department at the university has the best teaching faculty members. All the professors are well-qualified. Their teaching quality is great. They are driven, and it is really beneficial for those students who are passionate about their field. The course curriculum is relevant. The college conducts industrial visits, practicals and ends up having great discussions of HBR case studies and articles. The course also has a training module which enabled each student to device a module for learning and development.
Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to get into organisation and employee development through an HRBP role. If the college adds a business component to the course in the first year for those specialising in IP, then it would be helpful. The college provides a lot of opportunities to grow in the psychology department through extracurricular activities as well.
