The MAT 2025 registration process for the Feb session is open for PBT and CBT; the last date to apply is Mar 2 and Mar 9, 2025, respectively. Further, MAT 2025 PBT and CBT will be scheduled on Mar 9 and Mar 23, 2025, respectively.

NEET UG counselling 2024 has concluded after the declaration of Special Stray Vacancy Round 3 seat allotment result for admission to the MBBS course. For the next academic year, the NEET UG 2025 exam is expected to be conducted on May 4, 2025.
The MAH MCA CET 2025 registrations are open for admission to the MCA course, and the last date to apply is Jan 25, 2025. The MAH MCA CET 2025 exam will be held on Mar 23, 2025.
The MAH MBA CET 2025 registrations are open for admission to MBA/PGDM and MMS courses, and the last date to apply is Jan 25, 2025. The MAH MBA CET 2025 exam will be held on Mar 17, 18, and 19, 2025.

University of Mumbai, informally known as Mumbai University (MU) is one of the oldest state universities in India. Mumbai University was established in 1857. History of the University of Mumbai:

The University of Bombay was established in 1857 after the presentation of a petition from the Bombay Association to the British colonial government in India.
After this, the first departments established were the Faculty of Arts at Elphinstone College in 1835 and the Faculty of Medicine at Grant Medical College in 1845.
Until 1904, the university only conducted examinations, awarded affiliations to colleges, developed curricula, and produced guidelines for colleges developing curricula.
Teaching departments, research disciplines, and postgraduate courses were introduced in 1904, and several additional departments were established.
After India achieved independence in 1947, the functions and powers of the university were reorganized under The Bombay University Act of 1953. The name of the university was changed from the University of Bombay to the University of Mumbai in 1996.
In 1949, there were 42,272 students enrolled in 80 affiliated colleges. By 1975, the numbers had increased to 156,190 students and 114 affiliated colleges.
