It has one of the best infrastructures in West Bengal.
Placements: Placements are very famous in our department. More than 80% of students got placed in our course. The top recruiting companies are Nestle, Wipro, and TCS. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA. Around 86% of students got internships in our course.
Infrastructure: HIT has ranked 1st among the private colleges in West Bengal for its extremely satisfactory infrastructure. We have highly equipped laboratories and digital classrooms. Laboratories are air-conditioned. It also has a playground for cricket, football, basketball, etc. Hostel rooms are spacious. Wi-Fi is available in our hostel. The food quality is not good in our hostel.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. There are 500-1000 faculty members for 4000 students.
Other: I opted for this course because I could also study biology and maths. There are a lot of subsidies and schemes from the government.

This college has good placements records from 2019.
Placements: The best thing is our college has top recruiters such as Adani, ITC, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Wipro, Infosys, Emami, Britannia, events, etc. The pass-out batch got 90% placement and the highest package is approximately 9-10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi-free campus but limited. Digital classrooms with view boards. Hostel food is not the best but good quality is maintained than other engineering colleges. Our library, the central library is huge and can find most of the books needed for the curriculum.
Faculty: Teachers are enough helpful. The teaching quality is somewhere good somewhere average. But they make students ready and prepared. They won't let you rest throughout the total journey of graduation. Semester exams are difficult but if study properly then it's not a big deal.
Other: This is a self-financed institute of West Bengal and students from outside Bengal are crazed about our college. So if you are from outer Bengal you must see the reviews that are 80% given by outcomes. You got cultural fests tech fests annual fests etc. Better than many colleges in west Bengal. I just want the exam to be easier for us because it's hard to crack.
