Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. MAIT Review (Specially for those who wanna be a part of this campus for four years).
Placements: Max number of students get placed in our college with good packages but as the recession held most of the mass recruiters were refused to come to many campuses our placement cell department really tries its best from its side and also they help to develop more skills as we have an email group with placement cell of our college they also shared many online courses and internships link there to get the students more know about the technology.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the course is best as I feel that the scheduled system of the classes and the labs has perfect timing as many students can live far from colleges faculty members are understanding too and for students that live out of Delhi and far from college there is also a facility of the hostel in the campus. Yes, there is only one hostel and only for boys so girls may get affected by this.
Faculty: Faculty members of every department have a very different kind of nature, some faculty members are rude sometimes but most faculty members are very good and the curriculum of the classes and the labs are also good. The issue is only if you are 1st in MAIT then you need to cover your attendance after 1st year you get familiar with the faculty members and then you may understand the curriculum on your own.

Good placement with a higher attendance ratio of students.
Placements: Students must have a minimum CGPA of 7.5 for placement in my course. The highest package offered is 1.2 CrPA, while the lowest package ranges from 3-4 LPA, with an average package of 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, Amazon, and Flipkart. The college does not provide internships; students arrange them on their own.
Infrastructure: The labs are well-maintained, classrooms are satisfactory, and the library is in good condition. However, the campus size is relatively small. The canteens receive mixed reviews, and the college has a single ground dedicated to football. The sports complex is limited, featuring only two badminton courts, and their usage may incur a fee.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality was good. However, the course curriculum is not considered satisfactory. Despite this, they assist students in becoming industry-ready. The semester exams are notably challenging but can be passed, and the passing percentage falls within the range of 30-40%.

Things that no one will tell you about MAIT.
Placements: Placement stats was decent few years back, but now as per our seniors told us placement is going very low. People are getting 6LPA packages. Amazon has banned our college, it no longer recruits students of our college. But i think the placement cell is trying to fix all these issues.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good but not that bad either. Connectivity between buildings and blocks is good, but the ACs in classrooms don’t work properly and sometimes don’t work at all. Our course in semester 1 doesn’t even have anything related to computer science, and I am in the Computer Science and Technology BTech program.
Faculty: The faculty is really good, supportive, and always available whenever you need guidance. For examinations, I would say they are not that difficult. If you study the night before the exams, you can easily score good marks. As we know, it’s easier to pass IPU semester exams than to fail them. For the curriculum, I would say it isn’t that relevant to the industry and market for the first semester.

Amazing infrastructure and faculty, increasing placement stats, but poor sports and Wi-Fi facilities.
Placements: Almost all of the students from the college get placed with an average package of about 10 LPA, whereas the maximum package is 1.25 CPA. Top companies include TCS, ZS Associate and Amazon. Top roles in these companies include Software Engineer, Data Scientists, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure, given that the college is only 12 acres in size, is amazing when compared to other engineering colleges in Delhi. Most of the rooms are fully air-conditioned, and the library is one of the biggest in Delhi. The college does lack Wi-Fi facilities outside of the hostel.
Faculty: All the teachers are PhDs and are very knowledgeable. They are also very helpful and will support you in everything you want. The course needs to be updated a bit but it mostly makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty of the exams is moderate and it is not that difficult to pass the exams, with the pass percentage being 33%.

MAIT is a good college for those who have scored average in their entrance exam, JEE Main.
Placements: The placement at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology is considered average, with approximately 80-90% of students who appear for placements securing positions in companies. The packages offered by these companies are not very high; however, students often apply for off-campus placements and secure better packages. The average package at MAIT ranges from 6.5 to 7 LPA, while some students manage to secure the highest package of 13 to 20 LPA. It's important to note that top companies like Google, Facebook, and Microsoft do not actively participate in the placement process at MAIT. Additionally, internship opportunities are scarce as no companies visit the campus for internships.
Infrastructure: In Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology, all necessary facilities, such as well-maintained labs, lab instruments, and a library with all required books for respective courses, are provided. However, the lab instruments are very old and are not in good condition. The hostels in MAIT are very expensive compared to the facilities they provide. The mess food in the hostels is good, but they do not offer any extra co-curricular facilities. There is a gym in the hostels of MAIT, but it is below average, and hardly anyone uses it. As for sports, only table tennis is provided for students.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty at MAIT are well-qualified from top colleges, yet their teaching methods are not consistently effective; only a few professors teach well enough. However, the faculty members are highly supportive and understanding. The designed course is excellent and meets all the new industry requirements, especially for a new course. The difficulty level of semester exams is average.
Other: I chose computer science at MAIT because I'm interested in software development and aim to advance my career in this field. Although the campus size at MAIT is relatively small, it does provide all necessary facilities. However, there are no distinctive festivals held at MAIT.
