What to expect from Life at NITJ.
Placements: The placement percentage is quite good. More than 90 percent of the eligible students get placed every year at different companies. You can also apply for off-campus placements. The average package for CSE B.Tech goes around 14-15 LPA, quite decent.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well maintained, and Wi-Fi facility is available all around the campus with good internet speed. Labs and classrooms are well organized. Hostel rooms are spacious. The food quality is good in the mess, and there are also many cafeterias.
Faculty: Exams occur twice per semester: the mid-sem exams and the end-sem exams. Mid-sem exams account for 30 marks, end-sem for 50 marks, and the rest 20 for the internal. The difficulty level is quite high. Teaching quality is also good, but it more depends on how you study.
Other: Placements are quite good for this course, and also, I was much interested in computer sciences, keeping in mind the hype of the IT sector.

Good placements, really good infrastructure.
Placements: About 95 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 51 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 13 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Oracle. About 60 percent got internships in top companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and Tata. Top roles offered are Data Analyst, Software Developer, and many more.
Infrastructure: The faculty members are very good. Classrooms, Wi-Fi, and labs are very good, and overall, the college fee is 200,000. The food is also good. I would recommend this college. The overall campus is good, and the sports facilities are very good. Food is available in both the hostel and the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is very good and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is above 70 percent. Overall, the college is extremely good and amazing.
Other: Overall, the campus is extraordinary.

Review of National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.
Placements: This year I. e 2024 placements were not good. Companies like Amazon, google did not visit our campus. The highest oncampus package was 19 Lacs offered by Oracle. Top recruiting companies for CSE were Oracle, BPCL for the SDE roles. Internship percentage was also less only 14 students got internship in Microsoft. No other company visited for internships. The lowest package was 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities- Wi-Fi is available in hostels and CSE department also it has a good range. The hostels for the first year students are not at all good. They are 4 sharing which makes it really difficult to study as there is no reading room also and the in-time is very less so you cant go to library also. For the 2nd-4th year girls, hostel is good. The mess food is good. Library conditions are not at all good. In one side of the library even fan is not there, which makes it really difficult to study in summer. They don't give conducive conditions for students to study. Like we have one lab called CC lab in which students can study after their classes but irony is that "no charge is allowed" because according to some gentleman who is in-charge there, "students pull the charging board out while plugging out their charges". How are the students going to study? They have opened a new library also which open from 9am-5pm. Classes timing are 8:30 am-5:30 pm. Like what's the point?
Faculty: Teachers are neither helpful nor knowledgeable. Teaching quality is really poor. No concept is ever cleared. They all have a lot of ego. Course curriculum is outdated and not at all makes us industry ready. Like we are taught "microprocessors" in 2024! Semester exams level is okay but some teachers have a habit of setting up a difficult question paper and not giving marks thereafter.

National institute of technology Jalandhar review.
Placements: About 90 percent of students are placed. The highest package goes for around 50 LPA, and the average goes for 18 LPA for CSE students. Major tech companies like Google and Microsoft visit campus. Roles offered are for developers, and management and internships are also offered.
Infrastructure: The whole campus has access to the official Wi-Fi. Labs are equipped with up-to-date technology and equipment. Library and reading room facilities are also available. Hostel quality is average but clean. Full facility is given for sports and games. 24-hour ambulance facility is also provided for emergencies.
Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. holders and have a minimum of 5 years of experience. Hence delivering good quality and valuable lectures. The curriculum is challenging and busy, suited for industry-level training. Pass percentage is 40 percent, and exams are difficult.

NIT Jalandhar college life and placements.
Placements: In my final year, the placements are bad compared to what they used to be. In the CSE branch, only around 65% of students are placed, and that too with a low CTC. In other branches, the situation is even worse. And the college doesn't want to make efforts to bring companies and leaves it to students alone.
Infrastructure: The facility's infrastructure is good; however, they do impose illogical rules over the use of the center; you can't take your charge there, and now they don't allow you to study there either. The hostel food is okay, and the rooms are good too, but it depends on the year and the hostel you are in.
Faculty: The teachers are okay, but some teachers' attitude towards students is not good at all. They give warning to students that they will fail you and lower their self-esteem for no reason, which is bad because due to these kinds of teachers, it becomes difficult to freely discuss our problems. Not all teachers are like these, but some are not.
Other: The college life is good, and festivals are also there.
