A. NIT Raipur BTech admission 2024 is based on candidates' performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Based on the entrance test scores, candidates will be called for the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. NIT Raipur BTech fee is INR 5 lakh. Mentioned tuition fee is for candidates with an annual family income above 5 lakhs. The tuition fee is calculated on the basis of 1st year. For the selection process, eligible candidates who submit the applications and secure a good score in IIT JAM are shortlisted for further admission rounds. A cutoff for CCMN Counselling is then announced, based on which candidates have to appear for counselling to secure a seat. During counselling, document verification is done and if all the documents are fine, then students can get admission to MSc courses at NIT Raipur. 

NIT Raipur offers various courses such as BTech, MTech, MSc, MCA and MA. Admission to these programmes are entrance-based. For admission to the BTech programme the aspiring candidates need to have class 12 degree with a minimum of 75%. The other courses offers needs the candidates to clear other entrance exams i.e., GATE for MTech, JEE for BTech, NIMCET for MCA, IIT JAM for MSc.

Yes, NIT Raipur offers MSc courses for the duration of two years and is offered in full-time mode. The institute offers MSc courses in three specialisations- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. To get admission into NIT Raipur MSc courses, candidates must complete their BSc with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as a subject. Additionally, the selection process is based on the scores achieved in IIT JAM + CCMN counselling. 

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice. 

BTech Admission to the NIT Raipur is based on JEE scores. It is not possible for a candidate to get enrolled in the BTech course without clearing the cut-off of the JEE Main entrance exam. In addition to this the candidates also have to make sure they secure 75% in class 12 to be eligible for the BTech programme. Seats are allocated to students through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA).
