VJTI is the best ROI college in Maharashtra.
Placements: Placement at VJTI is excellent, giving priority to selection on first choice. The highest placement for production engineering was 18 LPA, with an average of 9 LPA for 2024. There is a 6-month compulsory internship in this branch because it's a sandwich course.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is old, as the college is over 130 years old. However, it has two grounds in the main area of Mumbai city. Hostels are also old but affordable for everyone in Matunga, Mumbai. Many sports facilities are available on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and understanding. Every faculty member is experienced, with Ph.D. qualifications in their subjects. There are three exams each year: Term Assessment (TA), Mid-Semester Exams (MSE), and End-Semester Exams (ESE). The difficulty level is present but not up to IITs level.
Other: Technovanza and Pratimb are two national-level fests at VJTI.

The best thing about the college is the placement and the alumni network which the college provide.
Placements: Almost every student present at our college gets placed. The highest package at our college last year was around 60 LPA, and the average package at our college is around 13 LPA. Almost every top company visits our college for campus recruitment. Many of the students get internships and get placed with the top companies.
Infrastructure: The one thing where our college lags is the infrastructure. As the college is very old, the infrastructure is not up to par. The infrastructure is not updated and they are renovating the college. Slowly, the infrastructure is getting better. The college has all the necessary facilities. The quality of the message is not good. The canteen is also not good.
Faculty: The quality of the faculty is good. The teachers are well-qualified from top-ranked institutes, and the course makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of exams held in our college is moderate to hard. There is no such passing percentage; our college has relatively low grading, which takes the average of all the students.
Other: I had an interest in the course, and I was interested in this college, so I chose to come here.

The college is known for best placement and good campus life.
Placements: Almost 85% of students get placed in the production branch and the highest package was 18 LPA and the average was 9 LPA. Siemens is a top recruiting company. Roles offered are product manager, assistant manager, etc. Internships are compulsory in the 3rd year and almost all are selected for the internship.
Infrastructure: Slightly low infrastructure but all the things like the lab and Wi-Fi are good. The hostel and mess are quite good. All the computer labs are well furnished and well maintained. Mess food and canteen food are very good and quite affordable. All kinds of games and sports are played.
Faculty: The faculty are very good and helpful. All the faculty are really good and all are Ph.D. graduates. The basic criteria for teachers are a Ph.D. Most of the professors are alumni of the same college. Passing is not that easy and passing marks are at 35%. A CGPA above 8 is considered good.

I am totally satisfied as it has good placement and really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 81% of students were in my course in 2022–2023. The highest and lowest packages were INR 18 LPA and 6 LPA, respectively. The top recruiting companies were CITICorp., Godrej, Siemens, Fractural, etc. Around 90% of students got internships, most of them at Godrej and Siemens.
Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi, ACs, posh classrooms, well-maintained benches, and a library specific to the production branch. The hostel has an average common washroom for all. Mess food is something I personally don't like. The hostel has a reading room and a laundry room as well. It also has a huge football and cricket field.
Faculty: Teachers are amazing. Their teaching is easy to understand. They are highly qualified. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant, and it does make students industry-ready. Semester exams here are quite strict. The pass percentage depends on the class average.
Other: There are so many events going on here every now and then.

It is the best college in Maharashtra.
Placements: Placements are quite good in our college. Around 80% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered by an IT company for our course is 24 LPA. The highest salary package offered by a core company is 14 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 7 LPA - 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Various reputed banks and IT companies visit our college to recruit students. Almost 90% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is not good. All buildings are very old. Some classrooms are renovated. The boys' hostels are old. Our college should provide a new hostel. Many classrooms are old. Our college should improve its Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Faculty members and the management are not good. The exam management is also not good. The lecture scheduling level of teaching is not monitored properly. The teaching ability of some faculty members is very low.
Other: Fests and events are good. All students are good and creative. Our college has many clubs and committees in the technical, cultural, sports, and social sectors. You will enjoy all events and fests a lot throughout the year.

Hello Deepak, I think you will agree with me that your rank in MHTCET is a bit on the lower side. VJTI is the topmost choice of students. Hence one needs to be in 90percentile bracket to get admission here. However to help you I am attaching a link that will predict college for you. https://www.shik

Many of the engineering colleges in India take admission on the basis of JEE score. It is not necessary. There are many exams like COMEDK, state level exams like UPSEE,VIT . But most of government institutions are accepting JEE score only. And, most of good private college too.
