GATE Admit Card 2025: IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 admit card on January 2, 2025. Candidates can download the hall ticket from the GATE’s official website/GOAPS portal - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. While appearing for the exam, candidates must carry their GATE 2025 exam hall ticket to the centre as it mentions the date and specific time. The GATE 2025 application form and correction facility are now over. IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE exam 2025 on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, in two sessions: Forenoon and Afternoon. Q: When will the GATE 2025 registration start?
IIT Roorkee has REVISED the GATE 2025 application form dates. As per the revised schedule, GATE 2025 registrations had started on 28 August, 2024. The last date for GATE 2025 registration have been extended to October 3, 2024 (without late fees). Earlier, candidates had to submit the application form by 26 September 2024, with regular fees. Candidates will be able to submit the GATE 2025 application form with late fees until October 11, 2024 (extended).

To enroll for the GATE exam, candidates have to pay a requisite fee of INR 900 (for female/SC/ST/PWD candidates) and INR 1800 (for other candidates) during the regular period. A late fee of INR 500 is charged for candidates applying after October 3, 2024.

How to Download GATE 2025 Admit card?
The GATE 2025 admit card is an important document, as it serves as identity proof for the candidates appearing for the exam. Candidates must know that the GATE 2025 admit card can be downloaded only from the official website, GOAPS Portal 2025. It can’t be downloaded from any other external website/source. The GATE 2025 hall ticket comprises of the exam, candidate, and instruction details that the applicant must strictly follow. Here are the list of the instructions that candidate must keep in mind -
- Candidates must present the printed (hard) copy of the GATE hall ticket 2025 in the exam hall. Candidates with an electronic (soft) copy will be denied entry into the exam hall.

Candidates with benchmark disability can avail themselves of the scribe's facility. The facility scribe is meant for only those PwD candidates with benchmark disability (not less than 40% disability) and physical writing limitations, including speed. Candidates can read the essential points related to scribes below;
- Candidates must know that a scribe will be provided only on producing a certificate stating that the person concerned has physical limitations to write, as given in the GATE 2025 information brochure.
- In the case of a person with a benchmark disability (not less than 40% disability) in the categories of blindness, locomotor disability (both arms affected-BA), and cerebral palsy, the facility of a scribe shall be allowed on advance request only.
- Dyslexic candidates can hire scribes, provided they submit a proper dyslexic certificate issued by the competent authorities.
- Candidates with less than 40% disability and difficulty in writing are required to send an email seeking compensatory time/Scribe Assistance to pwd.gate@iitr.ac.in, mentioning their name, enrollment ID, and mobile number. The subject of the email should be “Compensatory Time/Scribe Assistance under section 2(s)”
