AP ICET 2025 Eligivility Criteria: Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, on behalf of the A.P. State Council of Higher Education releases the detailed APICET 2025 eligibility criteria. Candidates who are seeking admission to the MBA programme of Andhra University must ensure to fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria to appear for AP ICET exam. Aspirants must check the APICET eligibility criteria 2025 before filling the application form. Authorities will commence online APICET 2025 registrations tentatively in first week of March 2025 at cets.apche.ap.gov.in. AP ICET 2025 exam will be held in first week of May 2025. The exam will be held in CBT mode across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates will have to report at the allotted exam centre on the day of examination.

Q: How many candidates appeared for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam?

For AP ICET 2023, authorities recorded the attendance of 90.20% of candidates who appeared for the AP ICET 2023 exam. As per the statistics, 44,343 candidates appeared for the exam out of the 49,162 applicants. AP ICET 2023 results have been announced on June 15, 2023. Authorities have released the statistics pertaining to number of candidates who have applied, appeared and qulified the AP ICET 2023 exam. Previous year, for AP ICET 2022, 42,496 candidates out of 49,157 applicants appeared for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam. 87.83% of the total candidates passed the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam (previous year). Q: Can we join MBA without ICET?

Candidates having valid score in other national or state level MBA entrance exams like, TS ICET, CAT, CMAT, XAT will be eligible to take admission to colleges offering admission on the basis of the abvove scores. Candidates are adbised to check the university wise admission process.

Q: What is the eligibility criteria for the APICET exam?

Candidates seeking admission in MBA courses through APICET should fulfill the following criteria: 1)Candidate should be an Indian National and should conform to the local/non-local status requirement as per government rule 2)Candidates should have passed a three-year Bachelors degree course in any stream with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate (SC, ST and BC with 45 per cent aggregate) from a recognised university 3)Candidates in their final year of 3-year Bachelor's degree and awaiting results are also eligible to apply for APICET 2025 exam.

Academic Qualifications

As per the APICET eligibility criteria 2025 candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme should have studied and passed the three- or four-year degree course in any discipline conducted by the university or recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidates can check the list of recognised universities by UGC by logging on to: https://www.ugc.ac.in/recog_College.aspx
Candidates with aggregate marks of 50% (45% in the case of reserved categories – SC, ST and BC) are alone eligible to take admission through APICET.
The qualifying Degree obtained by the Distance Mode Program should be recognised by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB.
The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for AP ICET-2025.

Age Limit

There is no age bar to apply for APICET exam.

Nationality

The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended.

Candidates seeking admission to MBA course offered by universities in Andhra Pradesh must appear for Andhra Pradesh ICET exam. However, candidates must check the eligibility criteria for admission to MBA colleges in Andhra Pradesh. More than 290 colleges in Andhra Pradesh offers admission on the Andhra Pradesh ICET scores only.

Registered candidates will have to appear for the AP ICET 2025 exam, which is expected to be held across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates will be able to choose three to four AP ICET exam centres while filling the application form.
