TANCET 2026 Exam Details
TANCET 2026: Anna University has released TANCET 2026 admit card for the exam to be held on May 9. Candidates can download TANCET hall ticket by visiting the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates who had completed the online registration are allowed to download TANCET admit card. Candidates need to carry a hard copy of their TANCET hall ticket on the exam day, May 9.
TANCET exam is conducted for MBA/MCA admissions at 250+ colleges in Tamil Nadu. TANCET 2026 exam date for MBA and MCA courses is set as May 9. TANCET 2026 Results
Anna University will release the TANCET result within a month of the exam date. The TANCET result is compiled in the form of a scorecard. Initially, Anna University releases the results with the actual marks and percentile score. Soon after the result is declared, candidates are allowed to reach authorities for any discrepancy. The TANCET scorecard is released 4-5 days after the result is declared. Candidates are allowed to check the TANCET 2026 results and scorecard from the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu.
TN MBA MCA Counselling 2026
Soon after the results are declared, TANCET counselling is administered online. Candidates can participate in the TANCET counselling for MBA/MCA admissions in Tamil Nadu. TANCET 2026 counselling process is as follows:
- TANCET counselling registration and uploading certificates online
- Release of TANCET rank list
- Payment of the initial deposit and choice filling
- Release of TANCET tentative allotment
- Confirmation of TANCET tentative allotment
- Declaration of TANCET final allotment results
After the allotment under general counselling, DTE will conduct SCA to SC counselling and supplementary counselling. Candidates will find the TANCET last rank statement using the allotment list.
TANCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

No, you can not join Anna University without appearing for an entrance exam if you want admission to the MBA/PGDM course. Students can either take the CAT or MAT exam, attain a valid percentile and then proceed to the next round.
