TISSNET 2020 Analysis: Section-Wise Review and Expected Cut-Offs

General Awareness

Traditionally, General Awareness section has posed serious challenges to exam takers. This year too, GA emerged as the toughest of all. While a majority of questions was asked from static GK, only a few were asked from Current Affairs. A score of 25-27 or more out of 40 will be considered a decent score in this section.

English Proficiency

The questions in English Proficiency & Language Skills section were of easy to moderate level. Only a few questions pertaining to vocabulary were a bit difficult. Unlike last year, there were no questions on idioms, one-word substitutions and analogy. The questions on grammar were plain and simple. There were a few questions on synonyms and antonyms.
