The college provides good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements n our college are good enough. About 85% of students from our senior batch got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. All shipping and logistics companies like CMA CGM, DHL, Adani Port, DP World, etc., visited our campus every year for placements. Almost 100% of students get an internship at our college. The stipend was not offered during the internship for students.
Infrastructure: The college provides all the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, air-conditioned classrooms, library, and medical facilities. The college provides 2 mess for students. Quality of food served is good. For MBA students, the college does not provide hostel facilities.
Faculty: Our faculty members have a good experience in maritime sectors. They all are PhD holder. Teaching methods used by them are solving real case studies. They provide industry exposure in Chennai Ennore port for 1 day. After a 2nd semester, the college provides 15 days industrial visit for their students and all the expenses are offered by the college only.

The college is pretty good. But think about all the aspects before joining this college.
Placements: The placements of the college are pretty good. Last year, almost 75% of the students got placed through campus placements. Currently, the college doesn't have any placement cell, but students are working on that. Last year, the placements in the college were very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. The college doesn't provide hostel facility for the male students studying management courses. Hostel facilities are optionally available for girls. College is having a good library with a good collection of study materials. The library is allowing students to access many online magazines and reports on a daily basis. The library also provides e-books. Quality of food available in the canteen is good, but the taste is not satisfactory.
Faculty: The college provides good faculty members for every course. There are many permanent faculty members and guest faculty members. All the faculty members are dignified and well-experienced in their specialised fields. Guest faculty members are well-experienced.
Other: Every year the management wing conducts the management fest. The college doesn't organise any cultural fests. The college provides free Wi-Fi facilities for students with restrictions on data usage per week. The college provides scholarships for the students who stood at first 15 ranks in every course. In all the four campuses, around 60 students from the B.Sc and B.Tech courses are offered scholarships. The scholarship awarded for the topper student is 1 lakh.

The perfect college for the field of logistics and shipping.
Placements: Around 90% of the students got placed last year. The salary offered is around Rs. 18,000-35,000 at the start. The companies like NYK, Team Global, Robinsons, Trans Asia, Kunenagal, etc. come for placements. Every student gets an internship from the college and stipend depends on the company we go to.
Infrastructure: The college has a digital library, Wi-Fi all over the campus, AC classrooms, smart classes, clinic facilities are also available. Canteens are available, and hostels are only available for girls for the course of MBA. Boys pursuing MBA have to stay outside the campus. A library is also available for students.
Faculty: Smart classes are used, and classes are taken with the help of presentations. Guest lecturers from various fields regularly come to take classes. Students are taken on industrial visits, and since our university is under the ministry of shipping, regular information about ports is passed to give students exposure to the industry.
Other: IMU day is celebrated on Nov 14. MBA management fest Estuary is conducted every year. Top 8 students of the department are given cash price of Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 75,000 every semester.

A:

To get into IMU Chennai, candidates must qualify for the IMU Common Entrance Test (IMU CET). Following the exam, an online counselling process is conducted where seats are allocated based on the candidates' ranks. Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria and complete the application process on the IMU official website. Admissions for MBA and M.Tech can also be based on CAT/MAT/CMAT and GATE/CUET (PG)/PGCET scores, respectively. For PhD programmes, a separate exam and interview are required.

A:

No, you cannot join IMUC directly. To qualify for admission to the university, you must pass the IMUC entrance exam. Every year in May or June, the IMUC entrance exam is held. There are a limited number of places available in each program, therefore the IMUC entrance exam is a competitive exam. When deciding who gets admitted, the IMUC admissions committee takes into account your performance in IMUC entrance exam, Your JEE Main result, How well you performed academically in high school, Your extracurricular pursuits.

IMUC B.Tech candidates should start preparing for the IMUC CET as soon as possible. On the IMUC website, you can easily find the syllabus for the IMUC CET in addition to a number of practice exams and past years' question papers. It's also advised to sign up for coaching sessions at a respectable institution.
