IBPS RRB Exam Day Guidelines 2024: Are you planning to appear for IBPS Clerk 2024 prelims exam? If yes, do not forget to check the exam day guidelines issued by IBPS. Before appearing in the exam, candidates must check the IBPS Clerk exam day guidelines. The exam day guidelines contain some general instructions for the exam, items permitted inside the exam hall, details about reporting time, etc. In this article, we have provided the IBPS Clerk exam day guidelines 2024.

IBPS Clerk Exam Day Guidelines 2024: General Instructions

Candidates can check below a few general exam day guidelines for IBPS Clerk 2024:

  • Candidates must note down the date, time, and address of the exam centre given in the IBPS Clerk admit card
  • Visit the IBPS Clerk exam centre one day before the exam to confirm the location
  • Candidates coming late for the exam will not be allowed
  • Paste a recent passport-size photograph on the admit card
  • Use of calculators, books, notebooks, cellphones, or any electronic device is not allowed inside the exam hall
  • Along with the admit card, candidates must bring one original photo-identity proof such as PAN Card/Passport/Permanent Driving License/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook/Photo Identity proof with photograph issued by a Gazetted Officer (on official letterhead)/Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative along with a photograph (on official letterhead)/Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognised College/University/Aadhar/E-Aadhar Card with a photograph / Bar Council Identity card with photograph /Employee ID). Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will not be accepted as valid ID proof
  • Do not leave the exam hall till the completion of the test
  • No travelling allowance will be provided to candidates
  • Bring a ballpoint pen and ink stamp pad for affixing a thumb impression on the admit card
  • Stationery items such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner. Any communication device such as bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc
  • Other items such as goggles, handbags, hairpins, hair bands, belts, cap, wristwatches, camera, metallic item, etc. are not allowed
  • Eatable item is not allowed
  • Avoid wearing ornaments such as rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, etc
  • Candidates must bring one additional photograph to the exam centre
  • Candidates need to paste their photograph on the call letter and bring one more photograph in addition. Candidates reporting without one photograph pasted on the call letter and one additional photograph will not be allowed to appear for the exam. (It is advisable that candidate retains about 8 copies of the same photograph which is uploaded at the time of Application as these would be needed for further stages of this selection process).
  • The preliminary exam call letter will not be collected at the exam venue. However, it will be duly authenticated/stamped by the exam officials. Candidates must keep the authenticated call letter along with the photo-identity proof safely. Those qualified for the mains exam need to bring the prelims call letter and photo-identity proof
  • Late comers will not be allowed to take the test

Candidate's registration

  • Candidate's registration will be done through photo capture.
  • Photograph will be taken while candidates are standing.
  • Seat number will be given to the candidate.

Rough sheet, call letter and ID proof

  • Rough sheets will be kept at the desk of each candidate.
  • No additional sheets will be provided during the exam
  • Candidates must drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit of the lab/venue while leaving the exam hall
  • Separate drop-boxes will be provided for rough sheets and admit card

Post Exam

  • On completion of a shift, candidates will have to move out in an orderly manner without crowding as instructed by the venue staff.
