SBI PO admit card 2023 for psychometric test has been released on March 13. The last date to download the admit card is March 19. This test is conducted for the qualified candidates of the mains exam. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.

What is a SBI PO Psychometric Test 2023?  

SBI PO Psychometric Test 2023 is a scientific and standard method to assess the mental ability and behaviour of the candidate by the recruiters. SBI PO Psychometric Test is examined statically to measure the suitability and cognitive knowledge of the candidate for the job, hidden aspects of the candidate, real abilities and personality traits. There are mainly two types of SBI PO Psychometric Test: Personality Test and Aptitude Test:

The prelims exam of SBI PO comprised 100 objective-type questions from three sections. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The duration of the test was one hour, with separate timings for each section. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the Mains exam. The Mains exam of SBI PO comprises both objective and descriptive-type tests. The test carries a total of 250 marks. The duration of the exam is 3 hours 30 minutes. The objective-type tests comprise questions from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness and English Language. The descriptive section comprises questions from English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

SBI PO exam pattern is such that it is divided into prelims, Mains, psychometric test, group exercises and interview. In 2022, SBI has revised the exam pattern. The psychometric test was introduced in the Phase 3 exam pattern. There is no weightage for this test and the performance of candidates in this stage will be shared with the interview panel. SBI PO prelims exam comprises three sections-Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The test paper carries a total of 100 questions. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the mains exam. The mains exam comprises both objective and subjective-type tests. The total marks allotted to the mains exam are 250. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are called for psychometric test. The psychometric test is qualifying in nature. Candidates qualifying the psychometric test are called for group exercises and interview. The group exercises and interview carries 50 marks.

A:

This section of SBI PO exam includes questions from Tabular Graph, Data Sufficiency, Caselets, Permutation and Combination, etc. To solve Data Interpretation questions, candidates must practise by referring to the previous years' question papers. The tips and tricks for the Data Interpreparation questions are given below:

  • Candidates need to first understand and interpret the given data before proceeding with the calculations

The marks scored in Preliminary exam will not be added to prepare the final selection list. Marks scored in Stage 2, which is out of 250, will be converted in a proportion out of 75 marks and Stage 3 scores of candidates, which is out of 75 marks will be converted to 50 marks.

There are no sectional cut off in SBI PO prelims and mains exams. Candidates are only required to secure the overall cut off in the exam. SBI PO prelims cut off is not taken into consideration for final selection. The cut offs of the mains exam and interview are taken into consideration for final selection. SBI PO cut off for the prelims exam is only considered to select candidates for the mains exam.
