A:

To secure admission at  Indian Institute of Technology, IIT (BHU), Varanasi candidates must follow these steps:

  • Meet Eligibility: The institution has different eligibilty criteria for its various cousres. Candidates must make sure complete the crietria. For example: For BTech eligiblity crietria, candidates must have achieve a minimum of 75% in Class 12 from a recognised board.
  • Clear Entrance Exams: IIT BHU has accepts mutiple entrance exams for its pprogrammes. Candidate must register in the course-wise entrance exam and secure a valid marks. For example: Candidates must excel in JEE Main and JEE Advanced for admission to the BTech programme.
  • Counselling: Engage in Counselling process for seat allocation. For example: Participate in JoSAA Counselling for BTech admission.
  • Apply Online: Visit the official IIT BHU website and submit your application form. 
  • Admission is Merit-Based: Admission is based on entrance exam performance, but explore admission procedures for certificate and doctoral programmes.

Q:   How can I get admission in IIT Madras?

A:

To seek admission to the BTech programme offered at IIT Madras, candidates need to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and fill out the application form in online mode for JEE Main. For other courses such as MSc, MTech, BS-MS (Dual Degree) etc., candidates must visit the official website of respective national-level entrance exam conducting bodies and fill out the application form in online mode. Q:   How can I get admission at IIT Delhi?

A:

IIT Delhi admission is entrance-based for all the programmes (Except for PG Diploma). For the diploma course, selection is done merit-basis. Candidates who have passed Class 12 can apply for the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi undergraduate courses. More details around the admission process of some of the courses are provided below:

  • Candidates, who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with an aggregate of 75% or above, can appear for JEE Main, followed by JEE Advanced and JoSAA Counselling to seek BTech admission at IIT Delhi.
  • Admission to MTech course is based on merit in GATE exam followed by GOAP counselling.
  • For MSc, aspirants need to apply with a valid score of IIT JAM and selected candidates have to further go through CCMN counselling.

The Science and the HSS Department of IIT Kharagpur started four-year BSc programme admission to which is subject to a valid rank in JEE Advanced exam.  Aspirants seeking IIT Kharagpur BSc and Integrated MSc admission need to qualify for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams to get shortlisted. For eligibility, candidates are required to have completed their Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Those who would like to earn an MSc degree are given the option to do so at the end of the sixth semester of the BSc programme. Accordingly, the seventh and eighth semesters are planned so that a candidate gets an MSc degree at the end of the tenth semester.
