Aliah: a dream of nightmares.
Placements: Here, placements are variable and not to the point. If a student is placed through campus, the payout is not so good, and the work pressure is inadequate. I strongly recommend developing skills on your own so that you might get the amount you want to sustain.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor; it's just a huge campus that is not yet finished. The campus might look great from outside the gate, but it has potential structural risks, as most of the classrooms and hallways are not yet furnished. You may also find roofs that are coming apart in the building, and no games are played on the campus.
Faculty: The teachers here are awful and pathetic. It seems like you are more knowledgeable than the teacher himself. Although the university is English medium, the teachers here don't have a good command of the language. Even a class 1 student speaks better than them.
Other: If you are very poor, then only come to this college. I strongly suggest doing B.Sc. instead of B.Tech in this college.

A good college with a decent (average) placement and supportive faculties.
Placements: 50% of students were placed in our course. The highest package is around 50 LPA. The lowest is 10-12 thousand per month, and the average is around 3 lakh per annum. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Rashmi Group, Pinnacle Infotech, and Tega Industries Limited. Around 70% got internships in our course in companies or small startups. The top roles are trainee engineers.
Infrastructure: The facilities are poor, like toilets that don't have proper equipment, and many are broken as well. We have Wi-Fi, a decent library, and the food quality is medium; the canteen is good. We have internal sports, hackathons, NCC, cricket, football, table tennis, and carrom.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are well qualified. The teaching style is good for teachers except for one or two. Yes, it has made them industry-ready. Semester exams are very easy; if you just follow the previous year's questions, then you can get a good grade around 7 to 7.5 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course especially because it has scope in both software and hardware.

Good University for good students with goals.
Placements: Placement is quite average in our university. About 30-50% students are placed through placement drives. Average package is around 2 LPA and the highest package which has seen is around 4 LPA. Internships are not provided by the university so students have to do it on their own.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. Wi-Fi is available in the whole campus so it is quite helpful. Classrooms are also quite large for studies. The library is also vast for a variety of subjects and topics. Hostel is also available which is quite honestly the most attractive feature of it all. It is quite economical and good to live. The mess is also and food is like that of every college. Medical facilities for sickness are available which provide medical consultation and for free. Sports ground is there to play any sport you want.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They will help very much in the course and are quite qualified. Curriculum is quite relevant and helpful for our engineering programme. We can say it makes us very much ready for jobs and opportunities to come. Semester exams are conducted every 5-6 months and are quite hard to score. Pass percentage is about 40%.
Other: I chose this college and course for its study environment. Teachers are very much helpful in courses and for other engineering exams. If the medium of teaching was not sometimes Bengali, it would have been much more helpful.

The university campus is amazing. The infrastructure is good but lacks maintenance.
Placements: 60% of students are getting placement in electrical engineering. 45 LPA is the highest package in electrical engineering, the lowest is 2.2 LPA, and average is 5.5 LPA. Most of the companies, like Mahindra, Candor, etc., are visiting those that design electrical devices and railways .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, the library is decent, and Wi-Fi is not available in the whole building but in the library, labs, etc. The hostel mess and college canteen are good; both vegetarians and non-vegetarians are available and food quality is above average but not excellent. In some items, food quality is excellent .
Faculty: Yes, teachers are well qualified. Some teachers have completed their degrees from IIT and the best colleges. Not that much training, but if a student gives their full attention, then he or she is ready to work in good industries. Semester exams are not easy; all students have to prepare because teachers are honest and check the paper, announce the result and show the answer sheet to students. Pass percentage is around 4 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because of my family background. The course is difficult but interesting and innovative. In my opinion, there is no need to improve anything. Tech Fest is overall good; hackathons and more events are organized.
