B.A. (Hons.) in Geography - Batch of 2028
4.2

Except for the mess, everything is wonderful.
Placements: I am pursuing a B.A. in Geography Hons in the Faculty of Arts, BHU. I don't think there are any placements for Geo Hons in the Arts Faculty; however, there are placements for Economics Hons in the Faculty of Social Science. I heard there are placements only for Foreign Language in the Arts Faculty. The Faculty of Social Science is better than the Arts Faculty if you are pursuing subjects like History, Economics, Geography, or Sociology. There are 60+ students alone in the Arts Faculty Geography Hons batch and 70+ in Social Science and in the Institute of Science. However, if you are good in studies, you will definitely have a better future. In BHU, there is a well-planned infrastructure for any field, which may be needed by any student.
Infrastructure: There are many libraries in each hostel, in each department, and in each faculty. There is also a central library. The library facilities are outstanding, but the mess and canteen need improvement. You will have to face a little difficulty with food. You can visit many messes, compare their food, and then choose a mess that suits your food requirements. Excluding the mess, allthe facilities are fantastic, and I don't think there are any loopholes.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. However, if you are being taught by scholars, you may find it hard to understand the concepts as they are still practicing. Scoring full marks in tests and exams is tough because the questions are structured in such a way.
Other: There are many tests, regular programs, workshops, sessions, and seminars.

Placement-wise, not recommended in B.A. courses; otherwise, campus life and overall facilities are g
Placements: B.A. Hons. in Social Sciences at BHU doesn't offer much placement through campus. However, you will get a chance for various internships as well as for volunteering in multiple events and functions held in and outside the campus. If anyone is looking for placement through B.A., then there is no placement at all.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the campus is somewhat good. There is free Wi-Fi available throughout the campus. Except for older buildings, all the buildings are good, and the main plus point is the library of BHU. It's a huge library offering lakhs of books, and there is a cyber library also available.
Faculty: Most of the faculty is really helpful and qualified. Their teaching is exceptionally well. But sometimes, classes are not held regularly. The course curriculum is good and relevant, and it will prepare you for competitive exams, as the syllabus is very wide. The semester exams are not that tough.
Other: I have chosen the B.A. Hons. Economics course in BHU. The professors are really good and knowledgeable. I wish there would be an improvement in the placement scenario in the future. The campus is very huge and also beautiful (especially the VT temple). If anyone is a sports enthusiast, then this is the place for you to be because of the huge grounds available throughout the campus. Fests take place multiple times.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of.
Placements: The placements in my college are pretty decent, I would say. The percentage of students who got placed in my college mainly depends on the cutoff, their caste, and the number of students applying for the course. Companies like Deloitte, Byju, etc., visit the campus. As for the remaining questions, sorry, I don't have any correct knowledge.
Infrastructure: The commerce lab and classrooms are fine, the library is decent, I would say. I have no experience in PG and hostels. The campus is not good but not bad either. There is a lack of greenery in the campus, too many unwanted outsiders in the college, and no rules and regulations, etc. I had tried two fast food items from the college canteen, and they both were awful. It was really bad. No for canteen food from that time. Regarding medical facilities, I don't know. In terms of sports and games, there is an indoor auditorium in the college and a big ground (which has accountable trees) on the campus. It's decent, actually. Don't come with high expectations.
Faculty: I didn't get any fresher's fest, orientation, or festivals yet, but our 1st-semester exams are scheduled to start from the last week of this month. Honestly speaking, I am losing my last brain cell. I mean, what do they want from us? Seriously. Anyway, what can we do now? We aren't mentally prepared for the exams, especially I'm not.
Other: Decent feels. Extra curriculum. Nothing like that has happened yet, and I'm disappointed.

Shortly, I'll say this college is the best for an average student because the fees are very low.
Placements: It is the best college. Talking about the environment and faculty members, they are just awesome. I'm studying in a B.Sc. course, so placements are a little less, but if we talk about professional courses, placements are really good. It also gives opportunities to study abroad with some of its schemes. .
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, from the moment I stepped onto the campus of BHU, I knew I was in for a treat. The environment here is truly exceptional. It's a perfect blend of academic rigor, extracurricular opportunities, and a supportive community. My experience is amazing.
Faculty: One of the best things that really stands out for me is the quality of our facilities. Our Chemistry and Physics labs are equipped with top-notch professors who explain everything very well. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging. Semester exams are average. If you attend classes regularly, they are just a cup of tea.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go into the field of research, and I really proved my decision right. After this, I can pursue an M.Sc. from here using the BHU quota. Talking about the fests, there are a lot of things to explore at BHU. Many celebrities and famous personalities come to BHU. Akanksha is the best fest of the Institute of Science.

Just come and explore by yourself. I would suggest that u270c.
Placements: 80%-85% of students were placed. The package depends on the year and companies. Goldman Sachs, Accenture, Amazon, etc. are some of the top recruiting companies. Approximately 70%-78% of students get internships. Professor and assistant professor are the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Everything is mesmerizing and memorable. Every inch of the campus is amazing, and every infrastructure is unique. Whenever you come, you will experience a great vibe here and will always be thankful to yourself for choosing this university. Give it a chance.
Faculty: The environment of studies and the behavior of teachers are too good here. Every course leads you toward a bright future and better yourself. Exams are much easier than they appear. Gain only 40% and you pass. Isn't it amazing? Teachers will be your best friend here, and the library will be your second home.
Other: I always wanted to come here, that's why I chose this course.

Good infrastructure and beautiful campuses.
Placements: In my course, there are no placements possible because it's a Social Science course in which placements don't take place. However, students pursuing this Social Science course can apply for many internships through which they can be hired by companies.
Infrastructure: The library and classrooms are very well-cleaned and large in size. There are also a few smart classes where we learn a lot. The infrastructure of the hostel is very good, and the food is also okay, but it contains a lot of oil and spices, which can harm our health.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are responsible for their duty, and some of them are very good in nature and at their work, although some of them do not take classes. Semester exams come after every three months and take place for one and a half months with a lot of gaps in between.
Other: My main paper is Political Science, and I want to be a professor, so I chose this course. Improvement in the management of semester exams and other documentations is needed. There are a lot of events conducted on the campuses, which are a lot of fun.
