I am satisfied with the faculty, supportive professors, good infrastructure but needs improvement.
Placements: There are no such placements offered from this department but you will get a teacher's recommendation for Ph.D. in top universities in India as well as abroad too. Many top universities from abroad also take admission in their university but that will be based on your performance and teacher interaction with them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of BHU is one of the best in terms of greenery. University has Wi-Fi connection almost everywhere in each department as well as in hostels too. Library has a wide collection of books and also ample space for studying. Classrooms of our department are big and spacious. Labs have all the necessary equipment and in enough numbers so that every student can perform their practicals without waiting for equipment. The quality of food served is above average but they have kind have all kinds of variety. Every hostel has a badminton and volleyball court where one can and every other game as we have a stadium. Medical facilities are good as we have a special health center only for students.
Faculty: Teachers are one of the best currently in our country. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable too. The teaching quality is good as they simplified the topic which makes it easy. This course is relevant only if you want to pursue Ph.D. and also lab practicals also make you industry-ready. Semester exams are kind of moderate, one has to study to clear with good grades. The passing percentage of this department is 95%. Rarely any student gets failed.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in this field and want to research in this field only. Its lab and practicals are the best things. The negligence of teachers with their syllabus should be improved.
