Worthy for Engineering except civil engineering.
Placements: One of the foremost thing that I want to say is placement only. Initially after admission they have charged rs 5500 as training and placement programme (TPP), but no company has visited till now in the campus for civil engineering and no one has been placed. I want to suggest please don't get admission here in civil engineering.
Infrastructure: All labs and classrooms are pretty well managed with infrastructure and ventilation but no core software of civil engineering like primavera are installed in any system. The Wi-Fi enabled campus is only on papers. There is no Wi-Fi connectivity inside the campus. Canteen facilities are excellent. Hostel cleaning is not upto mark as rats are roaming here and there and the food in the hostel is unhealthy.
Faculty: I was so glad when I got to know that I am going to pursue M.E. From Chandigarh university. But it is totally unexpected here as there are no labs for Masters and faculty members don't have sufficient subject knowledge. No industrial visits have regarding the construction site has been organised till now. The main subject (engineering drawing) is not available in curriculum and no labs engineering drawing labs are there.
Other: Events are always conducting here on daily basis. In a month you will definitely see an event. The CU Fest is so much exciting. No Wi-Fi is enabled in the campus. Scholarships are not provided to Uttar Pradesh domicile residence.

Everyone dreams to joining this college.
Placements: The placements are good for IT sector students. The civil and mechanical students also had only few core companies, so it's good to study here. There are very strict rules in the campus. I got placed when I completed my B.Tech, but want to study more, so, came back to the same place again. If you want to study, then only, it's good to be part of this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome and clean. There is greenery everywhere on the campus. It's awesome to study here with calm and very less pollution area. The food is good and hygienic, so I think, it's good if you study here. All the best. Everyone who wants to be a part of this Chandigarh University.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and highly qualified. Sometimes, all guest lectures by professionals are there, so in short, it's good. They have good knowledge about subject and experience which is required for good studies and job. Ultimately, all are good.
Other: The scholarship for poor and intelligent students are there in this college.

Chandigarh University- a good university in Chandigarh.
Placements: The university management helps to place the students in leading MNCs and since it was postgraduate course, there were placements for the role of the lecturers too. The staff helps in competitive exam preparation also. Apart from placements, the staff helps in the publication of research work in many international and national journals. Well, I was selected for a government job before the beginning of the last semester. So I didn't go for any placement activity. My classmates were placed in leading MNCs like LnT, Afcons, Era, ATS, etc. Some of them were placed in local engineering colleges for engagement as lecturers. The highest package was nearly Rs. 4 lakh per annum. The lowest package was Rs. 2 lakh per annum. Many companies visited the campus like HP, HCL, Sobha, etc.
Infrastructure: Indeed a beautiful campus. Giant infrastructure. Separate departments for every branch. Fully Wi-Fi campus. Well-established labs and up to date instruments. There is a central library which adds weekly journals, magazines and many more books. There is a departmental library also for each department. If a student achieves more than 8 CGPA, then that student is given books for the full semester and also there are a lot of scholarships available. There are many canteens, Subway and other departmental stores. The quality of food in the hostels is hygienic. The hostels are with attached washroom facility. There are many playgrounds too.
Faculty: Good faculty. Many subject experts and industry experts are there. The faculty members have patents in different fields and have publications in leading journals. The faculty used smart teaching methods. The teacher to student ratio was 1:50 in my batch. Plenty of industry visits were there. Many workshops on concrete mix design by Ambuja Cement, Lafarge, etc. The course curriculum was well designed. We got ample time to study for competitive exams too.
Other: A good university in Chandigarh, easily approachable. Helpful staff and faculty members. A home-like feeling in the hostels. Students from nearly all parts of India covering south India, east India are there. Even students from Bhutan, Africa are there. There are many industrial and international collaborations. The students can also have the opportunity of semester exchange programs in foreign universities.

Placements: Placements in Chandigarh University is better than other universities. CU has got the title of "University with best placement" in India. During the period 2018-2019, around 627 multi-national companies have visited the campus and 6314 placements were done. In the department of engineering of CU, the highest package was offered 31.77 LPA.
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University is in the list of top universities in terms of infrastructure. CU has smart classrooms, well established laboratories. Every department of CU has separate library and even a central library also. Hostel facility is also provided to students in their own premises.
Faculty: The faculty of CU is well educated and experienced. ME ( Construction Technology and Management ) has been adopted by me and the faculty provided for teaching this course is quite experienced and highly educated.
