With more than 90 affiliated colleges, DU provides BCom (Hons) and BCom programme via more than 50 colleges. Known for their high academic standards and strong alumni base, the cut-off for admission to these colleges is usually high, and the competition is tough. Candidates need a minimum of 60% or more aggregate in the qualifying examination in these four subjects: English, Mathematics and two other main subjects to be eligible for admission. DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU. 

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG). 

No, Delhi University offers a full-time LLM programme of two to three years duration at the PG level. This course is offered by Faculty of Law under DU. University of Delhi LLM admission is conducted in online mode and for final selection, candidates are required to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university. CUET PG exam is conducted by NTA and considered by DU for admission to LLM course. Candidates after completing graduation can apply for DU LLM programme.

Delhi University allot seats in its colleges based on the applicants scores in the CUET exam. Earlier, the cutoff was made available in public domain. The admission process for MCom at Delhi University up until 2021 was offered across two categories: Direct Admission and Through Entrance Test. Also, along with the entrance exam, interview rounds were also conducted for admission to Delhi University PG programmes.
