I recommend students to pursue mechatronics in Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: Most of the companies which visit our college for placements are top IT companies. So, if you want a prosperous career in the IT industry, you get many opportunities to try. The number of core companies visits here is relatively scarce with exceptions. Placements vary from department to department, and students who have exceptional profiles, valid recommendations or industry-related project, have a good chance to get placed in a core company with a decent salary package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided for our mechatronics course is great. Facilities are provided, and space to explore ideas and work on projects is always available to use. Although there are ample opportunities, how much you use these facilities ultimately determines the outcome of your career.
Faculty: Teachers here were well qualified and knowledgeable. Professors in this department have years of experience and are well connected in this field. Their experience and connections really help students to understand the course, to opt for different domains and pursue your interest with the help of their guidance. Faculty members guide students in projects, help and nurture their understanding level of concepts as well.

It is a good campus to enjoy college life but not for a career.
Placements: Roles offered to the students are IT trainee at almost all big IT firms, quality check team at few manufacturing units, assembly line at a few manufacturing units and some sales roles at Ed-tech companies. Roles offered are not that bid, but the brand name has good value if you search for jobs outside the campus.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure among all the colleges in OMR with all facilities of labs, and you can use them anytime to learn. Mostly they are well-maintained and working. Our college has almost all the sports facilities, and you can have a good time playing sports. There are no restrictions on sports.
Faculty: Our course involved almost all aspects of engineering, and the course structure is good. Faculty members are mostly of low quality and not much helpful. Students should do self-study.

Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are quite good in this college. But very few students get placement in their core subject and IT companies are hiring more people from here. Many good companies like Volkswagon, BMW, and Porsche has visited the college for placement. The college is helping the students to get ready for the placements through their placement program in the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college is full of greenery and they have different blocks for different departments. They have 3-4 food outlets where students can have lunch and mineral water supply is provided. The classrooms are very good. They have the best robotics and mechatronics labs.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful. If you are willing to study, they will guide you. The faculty members are knowledgeable. The course curriculum is quite interesting. They follow the CBCS curriculum and in that we are offered extra subjects like foreign languages, etc.
Other: The college is very strict about their rules and regulations. You can't use your mobile during the college hours and 75% attendance is compulsory. You should get pass marks and there is no ragging in the college. If you are studious and want to study, then this college is good. But the management is not good and they make too many mistakes like wrong results publication, etc.
