I'm not satisfied with placements.
Placements: More than 25% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA, the lowest salary package was 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package was 4 LPA. L&T was the top recruiting company. Few internship opportunities were provided in our college. A student got an internship at BMW which was near to our college.
Infrastructure: Our college had a top-class library that was awarded as the best library in Chennai. There were national and international hostels, but the food served was not up to the mark. Medical facilities were good. There was an ambulance for emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were knowledgeable and helpful. The course curriculum made students industry ready. It helped them to work on industry projects to be job ready. Exams were averagely tough. The pass percentage was 60%.
Other: Our college provided great campus life. I was impressed with the campus equipment and infrastructure. I participated in several campus fests and workshops on campus.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the placement opportunities in 2020.
Placements: Placement opportunities in our department were not good. Not even a single company came for placements. Only IT startups came here. They offered salaries of Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month. It was mandatory for everyone to do an internship. We were able to find internships through various sources.
Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi for students. The hostel food was average. The infrastructure was average. Labs were good. They had good machines for conducting practicals. I liked labs and instructors. We had good experiences in labs.
Faculty: The curriculum was good. Professors in our department were good enough to teach the practical subjects. The course did not make us industry-ready because it was not that deep. By studying this course, no one can qualify for the GATE exam. Many of my friends opted for coaching from outside.
Other: I chose this course because I was good at physics and I also wanted to explore the mechanical field. It was a good start with the subjects. By the end of the fourth year, it felt good to have studied the best mechanical subjects.

Maybe Hindustan is not suitable for mechanical and aerospace.
Placements: There is no placement in the college. I did not get any placement or interview from the college. You can get a job via outside the college after the completion of your course. The college is good for CSQE but not for mechanical and other branches. I do not know the highest and lowest packages.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good but you have to pay plenty of money for that. You can get good quality of food. Wi-Fi is only for hostel students, not for all the students. Classrooms are good and the library is also nice. Sports are not required in this college because we did not get time for that.
Faculty: Some qualified teachers are there. You can get a good percentage in the final exams. We can get above 75 percent easily. Course curriculum is good. The course makes students industry ready but there is no placement. Sometimes semester exams are hard and sometimes not too hard.
Other: The events, fest and extra activities are good in the college but placements are not as expected.

It has a good infrastructure but not faculty and studies.
Placements: The highest salary package offered for our batch is 4.5 LPA. We didn't get our faculty support for internships. They are very careless about students. They just focus on marks and not on concepts. If anyone wants to do an internship, they have to do it on their own, and no one will get support from the college.
Infrastructure: They concentrate more on money than students' comfort. The quality of the hostel is quite good, but the staff behavior with students is very rude. Food quality is also very bad. The faculty won't encourage you in sports. They just play with students regarding attendance.
Faculty: The faculty members are very rude and careless. They just focus on marks and exams. They don't teach about the concept and live examples that would be easy to understand. The pass percentage of the previous batch was very less than our batch. They didn't take us to any useful industry which would be helpful for our branch.

The college is very satisfying.
Placements: Nearly around 60% of students were placed. Due to the pandemic, recruitment is very less. The highest package offered in my course is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, HCL etc. Mostly, 75% of students got internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The buildings are built very well and are large. The parking area is very spacious. The classrooms are filled with lots of facilities like smart boards, desks, but the college does not provide Wi-Fi to the students, which is a drawback. The hostel food is very good, and the rooms are very hygienic. The canteen is the place where all the students hang out most of the time.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and highly knowledgeable. They have good degrees like PhD in specific areas which they teach to the students. The teaching quality is very good. The college follows a specific curriculum, and it helps students to gain more practical knowledge. The exams are very difficult here, and the examination system is very strict. One has to have knowledge about the subjects to pass.
Other: I like mechanical engineering, and it's a core subject. I am planning to go for higher studies in this course to gain more knowledge. There are very few events held in the college, especially in my course.

Pros:

* Good teaching staff: Most professors are well-qualified and helpful, providing regular doubt-clearing sessions and offering guidance throughout the program.
* Easy to pass semesters: With a relatively easy academic environment, most students find it straightforward to pass their semester exams.
* High placement rate: According to students' accounts, over 70% of graduates receive placements, with several companies offering decent salaries (Rs. 3-15 Lacs per annum).
* Industry connections: The university has ties with prominent companies like HCL, IBM, and Infosys, ensuring ample job opportunities upon graduation.
* World-class infrastructure: The college boasts modern laboratories, a state-of-the-art library, and excellent sports facilities, creating a conducive learning environment.

Cons:
