    NIRF 1 for a reason.
Placements: Nearly 70% of the students are placed. The highest package was 1.31 CpA. The average package offered is nearly 20 LPA. Bajaj Electronics, Samsung are some of the top recruiting companies. There is no actual data on how many students get internships, as mostly every student does internships after some time in their college period. Electrical design engineer, power systems engineer are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: For the course depth, we have ESB, which has one of the best infrastructures overall and a really good studying atmosphere. We have ESB-2, which is better than ESB. The Wi-Fi speed is really high and good overall. The classrooms are neat and well-equipped to contain 80-100 students at a time. The institute library has every book a student needs.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are really helpful. They are qualified and very knowledgeable. They are mostly good at teaching, but some are really bad. The course curriculum is really flexible and teaches the student what they need to know about their subject. After that, it's all electives and stuff to learn and thrive. The semester exams are really easy if you study properly (not too much to stress about). Nothing like JEE. The pass percentage is relatively high.
Other: I wanted to do electrical engineering from my 10th. I don't know why my mind thought of it, but I just went with it. The best thing about it is that we are not exactly doing the typical electrical engineering, but a lot more than that. I feel like it's fine as it is. I don't know much about the course yet to fully give tips to improve this stuff. There is no lack of events; something will be happening as long as you are in the institute. Connectivity is a little hard for introverts like me, but overall, it's a huge campus, which makes it even more difficult, even for non-introverts.

The nature is so peaceful and nice to roam. The curriculum is becoming better semester-wise.
Placements: Percentage of Students Placed: 70% of students were successfully placed in the most recent recruitment season. Salary Packages: The Highest Package: 131 LPA Internships: Internships are quite interesting. 60% of students are getting good internships. The Lowest Package: 5.4 LPA Average Package: 17-22 LPA
Infrastructure: Campus-wide high-speed internet connectivity is available, including in classrooms, labs, and hostels. State-of-the-art labs equipped with the latest technology tailored to various departments. The central library offers an extensive collection of books, journals, e-resources, and study space with internet access for students.
Faculty: Professors at IIT Madras are highly qualified, with most holding PhDs from reputed institutions globally. Semester exams are known to be challenging, reflecting the rigorous academic standards of IITs. Students are expected to have a deep understanding of concepts.
Other: The institute emphasizes research, providing opportunities for projects, international collaborations, and state-of-the-art facilities.

I'm dissatisfied with the aerospace, but it has good campus life, challenges, and lessons for life.
Placements: According to the survey conducted, placements for graduates of Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras are average, with the salary package offered was 18 LPA. However, based on my observation and experience as a student here, there were zero core placements for Aerospace graduates last year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our department is horrible with some ceilings falling off. The freshers' hostel is no less than a 5-star hotel, with all the facilities in it. Mess food is also nice, offering a wide variety of cuisines, with separate messes for North and South Indian menus. Wi-Fi is strong, and the libraries are very good, providing a great study environment.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good, while others are not as effective. Course curriculum is well-organized and student-friendly, with manageable pressure and minimal uneasiness. Faculty can be inconsistent, sometimes, they are good, and at other times, it may be difficult to keep up with them. Difficulty level increases with each semester, making it more challenging.

The campus life at our college is very peaceful.
Placements: Every year, only 60-70% of students get placements. The remaining students opt for higher studies. The highest salary package offered is 23 LPA. The average salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Placements depend on students' efforts and skills they learn.
Infrastructure: The aerospace department was constructed in 1971. It is one of the old departments in IIT Madras with the latest technology. It provides free Wi-Fi, a seminar hall, centralised air-conditioners, and classrooms with digital boards. Every hostel has free Wi-Fi, a television room, a kitchen room to cook, machines, and snacks for late-night cravings.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and highly qualified. The course curriculum is updated and very relevant. The exam difficulty depends on the professors' teaching. Sometimes, it is like only taking assignments. We have mid-semester and end-semester exams.
Other: As I am enthusiastic, I chose this course. A lot of events and fests are conducted throughout the year.

Review of IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology.
Placements: College helps with internships and placements. Almost 100% placements are offered. Current year, almost 95% of students are placed. But the core branch has low placements. We need more placement opportunities, such as an industry internship, etc. So we can get a better experience. The placement department is active all year for domestic and international companies. Basically, the placement department attracts big companies for visiting IITM.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but Wi-Fi is slow. The college hostel is well connected with Wi-Fi. A wonderful class with well-furnished infrastructure. We have a gym room and boys and girls' common room in the college hostel. The difference between girls and boys is that boys hostels and girls hostels are separated by almost 1 kilometer. Hostel mess is different for north-state and south students because food types are different.
Faculty: Very experienced faculty. Almost all teachers have done Ph.D.s from abroad. And college staff is very good. They help us anytime we need, guide us and encourage us in academic fields, and guide us to a successive future. Exams are very tough because this is India's number one engineering college. Assignments are taken every week. But all students are hard workers, so all students passed .
    Other: College connectivity is good.

The students who got good marks blindly choose this college.
Placements: This college is so good, and it is in the main area. Course-completed students got internships in top companies. The college is best for good-mark students; many students got placements in several top-rated companies, and students were placed at Boeing, Airbus, etc.
Infrastructure: The college hostel has good infrastructure, and food and snacks are provided on a scheduled basis. The food and snacks are decent in taste, made by a good quality chef, and the quality of the food products is decent.
Faculty: The teaching of the teachers is nice, and they have a lot of experience. All the lessons are taught in English, and the teachers help the students to achieve good marks. Many state students are studying in the college, and all the students are taught in an understandable way.
