Is NSUT worth it? Get to know from a fresher itself.
Placements: NSUT has an amazing placement when it comes to tech branches as the crowd is really good here. First of all, the major factor is the location, as it’s in Delhi, so more companies visit here. Societies are also active, which helps in having good peers working hard for placements.
Infrastructure: The first-year classrooms are really top-notch, and slowly the department classes are also reconstructed. CS/IT department classes are really good, just what a student can ask for. Overall, it has good infrastructure, but the college doesn’t have many buildings, which is the bad thing I see here. But overall, the buildings are fully developed.
Faculty: Professors here are also just like in another college. A few are good, and a few are bad. Attendance is the main bad thing in this college, as we strictly need 75% attendance, which is almost like a course for students. But good professors increase attendance too if you request them. The curriculum was updated this year, and I feel like the curriculum is good here.

If we want good placement and a good city, come here as it is in Delhi.
Placements: Approximately 95 percent of students are placed in my branch on average. We work in software development, data analytics, etc. We get jobs in companies. Many companies visit our college, like Apple, Microsoft, Google Debsoc, Adobe, etc. Many students also get internships here.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are clean and there are many single rooms. Wi-Fi is also good. Our classrooms are fully air-conditioned with every seat having a charging switch. We have an automatic light turn-off system in our classrooms. We have some restrictions on hostel rooms.
Faculty: Teachers are just average. I will say some teachers are good, but most of them only focus on syllabus completion. Teachers are knowledgeable, but they don't want to teach properly. Semester exams are of moderate level. If you study some days before the exam, you can easily get 8 + CGPA.
Other: Fests are big there, very good.

SEE before you believe in words.
Placements: Placement and internship opportunities are great here. Many companies come every year to the college, like Microsoft, Google, Sprinklr, etc. The highest package was 63 LPA, and the average package for CSE is 16-22 LPA. 70 percent of students are placed by the college, and it provides multiple opportunities according to your skills.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs for my course are nice and air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is available too. The library is air-conditioned with enough space for many students, and it has a vast collection of books. You can sit there to use your laptop or books to study calmly.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful in every way. Teaching quality is good here. The course curriculum is relevant and ensures that you learn to implement things practically, making sure that you are fit for the industry. The pass percentage is pretty high, and the difficulty level is a bit above average.
Other: Computer Science faculty is great, and the college provides excellent placement and internship opportunities. Two fests are conducted in the college: the annual fest called Moksha-Inovision and another fest called Resonaz, which is conducted in October.

The best government university of technology in Delhi
Placements: At NSUT’s main campus, students have a wide range of internship opportunities. Top companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Deloitte frequently hire students for internships in roles like software development, data analysis, business development, and consultancy. These internships provide hands-on experience with real-world projects, such as building software solutions, analyzing large data sets, or working on strategic business problems. Stipends vary by company and role, ranging from 10,000 to as high as 80,000 per month for highly technical or specialized positions. The typical duration of internships is between 2 to 6 months, and many students end up getting pre-placement offers based on their performance. NSUT also offers support through its Training and Placement Cell, which helps students connect with these companies and prepare for interviews, giving them an edge in securing these opportunities.
Infrastructure: NSUT Dwarka has good infrastructure to support both academics and student life. The campus has decent Wi-Fi throughout, even in the hostels. Labs are equipped well, and classrooms are modern with projectors and smartboards. The library has a good selection of books, journals, and digital materials, and offers a quiet place for study. Hostels are clean and comfortable, with Wi-Fi and common areas to relax. The mess serves decent food with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and the canteen is good for quick snacks. There is a basic health center on campus for medical needs. Sports facilities are great, with fields for cricket, football, basketball, tennis, as well as indoor games like badminton and a gym. Overall, students get everything they need for learning and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teacher to student ratio is good in the college. And students have good relations with teachers too, but yes, some teachers do trouble in case of attendance shortage(too much). They are funny, but they give too many assignments and give very short deadlines too. This is the reason I didn’t like it in the college. They keep students so busy with these assignments and all that, he forgets to make projects and learn new skills. I can’t give you the name of the teacher, but yes, there are some teachers who are very supportive and help you too. But on the other side, there are some who pull you back also. So you should always act polite and be respectful to teachers. Never argue with them. You should always say “ yes, sir” or “okay, sirrr…” There are two mid-term examinations and 2 unit tests between the mid-term examinations, and there is an end semester at the last.
Other: After completing my 12th, I had no idea what to go for. I just chose CSE because everyone said I should choose it. And yes, of course, after studying so long in physics, chemistry, and mathematics, I was tired, so I chose computer science engineering. And yes, it also pays well. The curriculum does not prepare you for real-world problems or anything related to your career is too outdated. You always have to hustle and continuously work on your skills, brush it up, find what you passionately about. The curriculum is too outdated too. They should focus on experimental knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. The frequency of exams is too bad as I talked about earlier. There are 2 mid-term exams, and over that, there are two to three class tests too. And at the end, you have an end-semester examination, so you will have one test every month or so.

Vibrant campus with strong placements with scope for skill growth.
Placements: On average, more than 85 percent of students are placed comfortably, and sometimes the placements are exceptional (provided the market does not suffer a recession). Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Sprinklr, Samsung, DE Shaw, Visa, etc. The top Roles offered are SDE, Product Manager, Consultant, R&D, etc. depending on the type of companies visiting the campus. Average packages for top branches or IT branches are approximately 16–18 LPA. The percentage of students generally getting internships on campus is approximately 40 percent, if the market is booming.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi facilities are available, and sometimes the network is not up to the mark, but they have worked out this and taken the necessary steps. Classrooms are being transformed into smart ones with hi-tech facilities. Library access is there obviously (though a little bit crowded sometimes). As far as the hostel facilities are concerned, the mess food is of average quality. Rooms are of standard sizes. A basketball court is there, and one can practice cricket in the net. Along with that, a running track is being rebuilt so one can enjoy sports while being on campus.
Faculty: The seniors are undoubtedly knowledgeable, and some possess great teaching qualities, but like every other college, they can't dedicate their limited time to entertain every query. The course curriculum is not up to the industry standard, and many subjects are still irrelevant in this era of AI, ML, and newly emerging trends. So, you need to mug them up just for the sake of CGPA and learn various skills on your own to become industry-ready. The average difficulty level is there in exams, so more than 90 percent of students pass the college exams easily.
Other: 2 fests are organized generally: Moksha and Resonanz. Moksha is attaining new heights year by year with the performances of celebrities like Vishal-Shekhar, King, Raftar, etc. Also, the college supports the government scholarships for economically backward students and provides them relief. Facilities are great near the campus like Vegas Mall, food outlets, metro stations, etc. Things which should be improved can be: 1. Lowering the strictness of college administration 2. Focusing more on skill-development of students than curriculum and classes.
