Parul ThapaSenior Executive Content
Paramedics are one of the strong pillars of the medical profession. The paramedic professionals play a pivotal role in emergency treatments and perform various technical duties in the healthcare sector. Paramedical courses are the most sought-after courses besides the MBBS that one can pursue after clearing Class 12.
These are both diploma and degree courses for the graduate and postgraduate levels. Therapists, nurses, pharmacologists, etc., are the paramedic professionals who have to perform duties like taking blood samples, conducting urine and various other lab tests, and much more. Therefore, the paramedical syllabus is designed accordingly. The diploma-level courses have a duration ranging from one to three years. The bachelor's courses generally have a duration of three to four years, whereas master's courses are typically 2-year programmes.
