This is required more in the case of Quant and Reasoning Ability and less in the case of English, General Awareness and Computer. As the preparation time is only three months, the first thing you need to start off with is the mock test. 10 Weeks to IBPS PO
Having covered the basics, it is time for practice. For the next two weeks, take one mock test per week. You should also do in-depth analysis of your performance in the mock test. You can also start solving the sample papers/previous years’ question papers to know the types of questions asked in the exam.
8 Weeks to IBPS PO
By this week, you should have completed a considerable chunk of the sample papers/previous years’ question papers. From this week onwards, all preparation has to be done through mocks. Your frequency of mock should increase to two per week for the next two weeks. Each mock should be followed by in-depth analysis. In this analysis, you should reattempt the questions that you were not able to solve to see your performance. This will tell you where you need to revise your concepts and help in finding out the faster method of solving questions.
6 Weeks to IBPS PO
From this week to the next four weeks, your frequency of mock tests should increase to three per week. The focus should be learning entirely from the mock experiences. Do deep analysis of each mock and if required, revise the concepts you are weak at. After three to four mocks you will be able to find out a strategy for yourself and follow that strategy.
2 Weeks to IBPS PO
During this week, decrease your mocks to two per week. Do a full revision of the concepts of all the topics that you have studied. Also, you can take up all the mocks that you have attempted earlier to analyse your performance. You can also reattempt the mock tests where your performance is not good.
The IBPS PO Week
Take your last mock this week. Do not take any mock in the last four days. Keep the revision light and glance through some previous mocks as it could be helpful. Do not take up any kind of studies in the last three days. Keep your mind relaxed and take enough rest. Trust your preparation and give your best in the exam.
