How to Prepare for SBI Clerk in Two Months? SBI Clerk exam is conducted to select eligible candidates for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales). With two months left for SBI Clerk 2023, candidates must work hard to get through the prelims and mains exam. For the first month (four weeks) candidates must focus only on their strongest sections and the important topics. After they finish each topic or section, attempt topic-specific tests and sectional tests to check where they stand in the competition.

Candidates must practice as many problems as possible immediately after learning a concept to clarify their understanding. Solving questions that were asked from the previous year papers will help candidates to get familiar with all the possible and frequently asked question types. Try to solve each question within the sectional timings since SBI Clerk test a candidate’s speed and accuracy.

The last two weeks should be purely utilized to solve as many mock tests and previous year papers as possible. Focus on the high-scoring topics along with the easy and moderate topics exam-taking conditions. Analyse the results of each mock test and revisit the topics that candidates are committing errors.

  • Candidates need to acquire speed and accuracy both. They need to increase their speed in Maths and Reasoning
  • To increase speed in Maths, try to solve simplification questions on daily basis
  • Remember square and cubes. Remember ratio values, which convert into percentages. Try to prepare topics in sequence, for eg, try to do ratio first then percentage topic as ration will help candidates a lot in percentage chapter then afterward do Simple Interest and Compound Interest as both ratio and percentage are used in this chapter
  • So try to do Maths in this manner. To increase speed in Reasoning just practice questions daily
  • After SBI Clerk syllabus is completed, give mock test daily
  • Work upon questions that they find difficult or take more time in mock test

  • For SBI Clerk 2023 mains exam, candidates must have their concepts cleared about every topic
  • Clearing prelims means they have their concepts cleared. Candidates need to work on GS portion
  • Study weekly current affairs PDF and then monthly PDF from other source
  • Make notes of current affairs section-wise and month-wise which will in return help candidates a lot to revise
  • If candidates have a good preparation before prelims try to study GS well before prelims as it will give candidates a lead and they will get more time to cover static and current affairs portion
  • Try to cover topics in static GK such as CMs and Governer, dams and river on which they are constructed, latest appointment in banks, banks' headquarter and their taglines, latest policy and schemes interest rates, books and authors, important days (last six months) and many more
  • Give mock tests for mains daily or once in two days after prelims. Always analyse mock tests. Work on the weak points. Practise the questions that candidates are unable to do in the mock test.

English Language

  • Practice more and more questions
  • Grasp the maximum of the basics of this language so that candidates manage to attempt the maximum number of questions in this section in the examination
  • Do keep in mind that accuracy should be the priority while attempting this section
  • Those who think they are weak in English can attempt Comprehension as it does not test English grammar, and one can do it easily by making use of their common sense
  • The Reading comprehension too should be attempted in a way that candidates attempt questions based on vocab and phrases first and then the questions that need a deep penetration through the paragraphs
  • The important topics for the cloze test are subject-verb agreement, preposition, and verbs. These topics may help candidates with some other questions too that will be based on grammar. So make sure that candidates have these topics at their fingertips

Quantitative Aptitude

  • This section needs the maximum of your hard work, as the questions asked in this section are calculative and very time-consuming
  • The key is to attempt the mock without skipping a single day
  • In the examination, attempt the questions on Quadratic Equations, Simplification, Approximation, and Number Series first as candidates will be able to solve the maximum number of questions within minimum time
  • After having attempted all these questions efficiently, go for Data Interpretation. In every DI some questions are always doable and the rest are a bit tricky and calculative. So, try to attempt at least those easy questions with accuracy
  • Rest of the questions will be based on arithmetic miscellaneous topics like CI & SI, Time and Work, Pipes, and Cisterns, Partnership, etc. Time will be running short and if candidates are left with some, then attempt these questions too in the end
