NRA CET Full Form: The National Recruitment Agency (NRA) will conduct the first edition of Common Eligibility Test (CET) by the end of this year. NRA is the organization formed by the government of India which will conduct the upcoming NRA CET exam for the recruitment to the various non-gazetted posts under Group B and C. Ever since the Union Cabinet has approved the formation of National Recruitment Agency Common Eligibility Test, it has become the talk of the town. NRA CET Full Form: What is NRA CET?

As we have already mentioned NRA CET full form is National Recruitment Agency Common Eligibility Test. The test will serve as a common screening test for all the group B and C posts. NRA CET will replace the prelims exams conducted by various recruitment agencies-IBPS, SSC and RRB. The scores of NRA CET will be used by the recruitment agencies to select candidates for the further rounds of the selection process.

  • NRA CET is the screening test for SSC, IBPS, and RRB recruitment
  • Based on NRA CET score, final selection will be made for the mains exam/tier II, tier III (To be conducted by the respective recruitment agencies)
  • NRA CET will be conducted twice a year
  • The exam will be conducted online depending on the number of applications
  • There will be separate online NRA CETs for graduates, Class 12 and Class 10 candidates
  • NRA CET score of a candidate will be valid for three years
  • Best available NRA CET score of three years will be considered for selection for further rounds
  • NRA CET scores can be shared with central government, state governments, Union Territories (UTs), Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and private sector for recruitment to various posts

NRA Full Form: What is NRA CET Exam Pattern

NRA CET exam pattern will be divided into two parts- A and B. Part A will consist of Basic Aptitude, Test of Reasoning, Verbal Ability, General Science and General Knowledge. Part B paper will test the candidate’s psychology and response to certain situations, qualifying in nature, yet mandatory for final appointments. Initially, the test will be conducted in 12 languages including Hindi and English. Later on all the languages mentioned in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution will be added. The exam pattern is given below.
